hi,

im lvl 58 and i just realised i want a blader -_- because bower cant really own in pvp without a sosun

SO

is a bow + blade a good build?? or is it not worth it and should i delvl the whole pacheon and lvl blader skill

OR

Stay with the bow skill?

I'm a lvl 73 pure str blader with bow as well...bow is mainly for grinding and farming, so I'd stick to those skills for that if you can...bow sucks IMO for PVP because it's slow and you can get owned by nukers in no time...bow is strong, but not efficient.

Blade is good for PVP because you can tank. you wont deal much damage, but if you go pure str and have a good blade you can hold your own. I can beat many people around my lvl who are nukers because I can get a crit or two and kill them, whereas they have to keep attacking me...have 14k hp really helps

but yeah, I'd do it if I were you...I plan on maxing my skills out (until cap increase) with the following

Blade - 80
Bow - 80
Fire - 80
Light - 60

but when new cap comes id probably need to down 1 weap then no?

Yep. 90 cap is impossible to play dual weapon at.

Don't go blade IMO. Stay pacheon. Much more versatile and wonderful crits.

You can do lots of things with a bow: tank pretty much (with ice), and kill very fast (with very high crits). With a blade you can only tank. Killing is alot harder.

Hey there, this comes from a guy that spend like 2 monts testing each build and asking info about them, no blade sucks azz unles u have godly gear, no bow doesnt suck in pvp watch some videos, may not be the best but it does pretty goood now with th enew skills, blade only tanks, i spend weeks watching the pvp in gates and the war between NW and LOD (i was there) a NW bow killed 2 LOD bladers and th ebladers had to be chasing the other people just to try to KD them while the bow stayed back and sniped.

Then those LOD bladers had no idea how to PVP properly.

I have yet to be killed by a blader that was my level... even fully farmed. At the very worst it is a pot war if I don't manage to kill them with a few crits.

You can actually kill people with bow unlike a blade where all u do is potwar.

well i not scared any intel unless they are sosun...cuz the crit gonna get them sooner or later...and yeah...i can take couple of their nuke...np..bladder...even with sosun...u gonna still have hard time pvp..

i pick bow over blade any day....i want to kill not tank...

dun worry about the blader dmg.....later ver there will be new blade skill that decrease u shield def to increase u atk.......^^

so go blade as u want ^^

imo ... bow/blade combo is deadly.

yeah im going blade lol, im just using this char to make money anyway and trade alot probably and with blade i will survive porbably longer then with a bow ^^ and btw its only a game ^^ if i mess up ill restart on a new server lol

Am gonna have to disagree here, as long as you got tactics to can take down a full sosun gear person with jut npc gear. I remember i had a 3vs1 battle blader, glaiver, nuker, vs me full str archer (they were all around my lvl and had +3 or higher weps, I have sos bow +3.

The first thing i did was ghost walk away and give me some range, killed the nuker first as he does the most dmg than glaiver than the blader, I believe as long as a archer runs and ghost walks in pvp you can beat anyone.

After i owned them all a couple times they started calling me a noob for running... I mean in real life if i had a bow and my enemies had melee weps id try to get some range between me and them lol. k your probably thinking its not real life but the point am trying to get across is BOWS CAN PVP w/o sox stuff... you need to know tactics...

tactics like canceling nukes with kd,kb,stun,fire wall.... if you say sro doesn't have tactics involved i say your wrong lots of skills can cancel each other out...

Any way .. pure str bows isn't the best to choose .. Hybird bow is more logical ... 80 : 80 build can kill all other builds .. he will do more damge .. and even crit with more damge .. and for new skills .. snow shiled can't be with a str build .. but hybird with 80% mag balance will use snow shiled and you can't kill him if you are glavier or nuker or even crossbow or wizard ... going to have more mag balnace don't mean loss HP and def .. it means more damge and more def .. lol ..

If you are str build go blader and keep the bow .. dual weapons will make good build .. and bladrr / bow will be better than blader ..

And don't worry about new 90 cap ,, you are a str build and don't need light at high lvl .. you will enjoy that build ,, but you need a lot of SP

IMO, i'd stick with bow. The new bow skills make bowers even more stronger and like most people already said, bladers are meant for tanking. However, bladers can be more deadly with that new weakening status thats in the combos, but i still see more people switching from blade to bow, not the other way around.

how do you know 4 sure that threr's coming new skill, I havent heard about it anything , actuall i am thinking of quit with blader bec, dmg is so low,but that skill make me think.
