Witch one is the best for pvp and jobbing? + the most fun thinking of hyb str now

Need some advices..

Personally, i love hybrids. Except euros cant be hybrid, but thats a different topic.

Hybrid str chinese glaiver pwns, you can still tank, and deal more damage than a pure str, so hopefully you dont have those 30 mins fights in 1v1 with 2 pure str glaivers going at it >.<

Simply it's 80:80

Make the three charecters and reach 80 lvl and see ..

with the new skill : snow shiled + bow skills 80:80 become the best build ever in all chinese charecters ..

it will be like that :

80:80 > hybird str > pure str > hybird int > pure int

But hybird int will be so funny but not strong enough

Well, bot pure STR, hybrid STR and 80:80 work well.

Liquidsmooth is STR hybrid and works very well (around 17k HP with max blues)
BakaFish (YagamiRaito) is pure STR and also very strong.
and finally, there's UnDutchable with UnDutchable (pure STR) and kaWs (80:80) who is very strong with both accounts.

Dig those up with the search button for further informatio.

You see, in the end, there is a variety of very good bow builds. There isn't a single "best" one.

Man, everyone ran right off with the bow discussion! I find your choice interesting here, would like to hear more about this build. They'll fight over the bow builds until the cows come home.

Ok, after 461 threads and few thousand duels, I believe that we can make a final statement:

It's the equipment that wins the fight, not the build

That's not the base .. there is some builds with npc gear can own other build even with + 5 full gear ..

Give a pure str glavier full set of sosun and sosun glavie .. give pure int s/s full set sosun and sosun weapon ... and watc the fight ...

Pure int can't win this this battle ... even he use snow shield .. after 2 min the snow shield will ends and he will die at all costs ...

give the same gears to the same str glavier and put hybird spear at the other side .. Hybird have better chances to win ..

now bring pure int bower against pure int spear ... spear will role ...

and so on ...

The equipements making big difference but the build is the main idea before thinking about it ...

i'd rather stick with Pure Str glavie

tons of hp and great damage.
you also gota love that lv 31 glavie skill (The spear throwing move)

What exactly is the purpose of investing a few more points in INT when making a strength hybrid for a glaive/bow character? ... Getting a few more dmg from an imbue?

First we speak about Bow not glavie ... JM made the bow hybird weapon already .. it's Phy attack = mag attack .. but oh .. you will not understand that .. you need a chart :

let's take an example of npc degree 8 weapons and see ...

BOW : phy attack = 559 , mag = 894
Blade : phy = 551 , mag = 813
Glavie : phy = 616 , mag = 896
Sword : phy = 508 , mag = 882
spear : phy = 560 , mag = 986

so it's as following :
phy attack : Glavie > Spear > Bow > Blade > Sword
Mag attack : Spear > Glavie > Bow > Sowrd > Blade

That's what means the bow is a hybird weapon ... it's phy attack not too much and mag attack not too much ... but both are good .. that's why we increase both INT and STR ...

We all know already that mag attack is higher than phy attack .. so if you did a pure INT Bow you will deal much more damge by ( a bow skill + imbue ) than pure str ... but your mag damge isn't high enough to kill your enemies as spear .. and don't have shield as sword .. so both Pure int and pure str will kill you easily ...

So we do 80:80 bow to have decent amount of HP and phy def and also MP and mag def (means you can use snow shield without big problem) ..

and for the damge you deal as 80:80 bow will be so good your strong bow with fire imbue will destory everything ... in lvl 80 you can crit with 10 k or more damge on lvl 80 glavier !!! that's mean you will kill him soon .. remember that pure str Bow can't kill glavier as glavier do more damge than pure str bow and have more HP too ...

Is that clear or you need more explaination ?

Oh. So you're saying that an arrow (made of wood and a sharp metal piece at the front end) itself deals more magical damage than physical... Cool. Guys from JoyMax really have sense of balance

And the funny part is to know that arrows have more mag attack in real life ..

you laughed enough? Now let me explain ..
The normal arrow will do phy damge and can hurt / kill people .. but it can't deal a good work aganist heavy armor made and can't deal much damge when the distance is so far .. also sometimes there is no time to shoot 2 arrows .. your chance only in 1 .. and it's hard to make sure that you will kill in 1 hit .. also shileds block the arrow attack ..

That's why they tried to use : Fire arrow , and posion arrow ( mag attack ).. posion arrow will kill the enemy if it just hurt him ... fire arrow wil burn the enemy himself , burn light armor and garment ( leather or robe) , burn wood shields , or burn war machines made of wood too ..

And If I will try to make a bow as a mag weapon too , I can make a blast arrow , lightining arrow ( use electrical power ) , and chimical arrow (with a war gas for example) .. or even plant a nuclear bomb in it .. ( lol .. I will need 1000 Km range for my bow )

That's make the mag attack of the bow higher than it's phy attack .. so funny ..
