Hi,

I want to build a pure str char. What is the best weapon and mastery?
What are the pros and cons of such a pure str?

i'm pure str ice blade because they freeze and frost bite which = to 2 effects even with autopill u still freeze and slow down for a few secs so ppl plz dnt argue on that. it does lowest dmg of the lot but can tank the most and also its said to won the korean PVP tourneys the most times.

pure str glaive, blade, or bow, with ice or fire or both

ill prolly get spammed for this but imo ice can never become #1 in pvp
ice has onli 1 advantage and its the freeze/slow effect
fire has 2 advantages more dmg and burn

in early stages people can say ice slow u down even if its for 1/2 sec so they hit more and burn can be pilled so ice is better but in later stages of the game when people become richer and have farmed more sp ice becomes 100% useless against a fire blader

since koreans got mentioned lets say they are max lvl ice blade vs fire blade lvl 70 both got all blade maxed and their own element maxed with all skills

ice will have more defense but compared to fire dmg they will still take more dmg so dmg wise ice will lose
now the onli thing left in favor of ice is the slow/freeze but at this point fire has book 4 fire shield 78%reduce + 22%from any comination of rings,ammy,necklace and they are 100% immune to freeze not even for .000001 of a sec will they be frozen

That's true for me. Even as a bow user, I still mastered the fire shield also because of the reduced abnormal status. Had tried it already with npc ice thieves and ice players and even at lvl 32 (book 1), you can already see the benefits!

Thats not true, because fire shield-emperor (max) reduces -78 not 78%! And like frost nova-woods (area freeze) does 154 effect when maxed. So 22% reduce from ring reduces 33.88 of 154 = 120.12 effect left, then 120.12 - 78 = 42.12, so there are still effect. So you still can get that freeze/frostbite and you need to use pill = you "waste" your attack time and if you get freeze, you are interrupted.

So we need all accessories having cold reduce, then? If necklace + ring + ring +earring (all having 22% reduce), the effect will be..... ....definitely something to think about.

its alway's been my vission that icebladers also need force just so thay can use vital spot to complement for the lower damage thay do

ive tested my acc from 18% all the way to 74% with diff fire shield books
ive tested the fire shield even tho it says -78 i find it more like being -78%
ive been hit by 150+cold effects and not even a split second of freeze once u have the gold for the acc ice is pretty much useless

FFS JUST USE FIRE

60+% frostbite/freezing reduce + fire shield = win against ice

unless u can become FULL ice immune, dont get all those frostbitten/freezing reduce jewels, cuz most of the time u wont find find those jewels at ur lvl so they'll be around 20 lvls below urs. and that could be about 20% less dmg absorption... even if ice bladers cant freeze u to death, they may slash u to death
