Glavie & Archer

I am going to plvl a whole new char and farm at ongs so i can always change again....

I wanna know pros and cons of both glavie and archer
I wanna know if what situations glavier are better or worse then archer and why...
I wanna know what your choice would be...

Tell me everything you wanna share...

Who gets killed or kills faster in pvp/jobs/grinding...

bows are more powerful now with the new skills, and glavie was always powerful

dont really need glaive if your an archer tbh, they wont even get close to you, just keep knocking them back

That's not true at all. By the time you try to knock back they have got a few hits on you and if they stun you it hurts. Go dual.

i'm a level 61 bowman.. and i'll tell you some cons and pros about being a bowman. ^^

cons:
-all you do is shoot arrows in different color
-gotta carry a shit load of arrows
-you use more mp pots than a glavie
-your passive skill don't give you any defense boost
-you need to get more skills that a glavie (you need more sp)

pros:
-you level faster than a glavie user
-anti-bow has amazing crits
-you get to use a lighting black hawk if you have enough sp
-you don't have to buy as much hp pots as a glavie
-you get the soul arrow buff that lets you shoot further

The knockback arrow is the best defense there is in the game right now. When I had it, no nuker was able to get 2 nukes in unless they stunned me. The knockback arrow in combination with the stun arrow is way more annoying then the stun and knockback from glavie. Glavie has 1 attack wich allows the glavier to have 1 change of knockback, we got 5 arrows equals 5 chances

Dual build is out of date imo. Take the above build and lose around 30% of grass walk speed, and a couple of meters of pw. Wich still is important for a bow.
Besides you miss out the spicey ice defense boost.

By a nuker stunning you mean spear. Fight a sword and shield and he'll block a few. Btw I have never seen a full 5 shot kb.

If you are pure str bow you have a 20% grass walk speed and the meters of pw arent very important. cause you'll tank enough.

I fought a s/sers, its the same deal with them. I only fought 1 s/ser who once blocked all my 5 shots. Besides that, nah changes of kb are over 50%.

PW is important, even if I will tank enough as you say. I always made sure I had it maxed as high as I could. A skilled player is able to pw almost the sec after you did it, so those extra meters does mean something, atleast for me.

So? I wear garment, I can use the little ice defence when I fight cocky glaviers who like to smash buttons and think they rock.

Any S/Ser who gets close enough will KD you (50%) as well. PW is your personal openion**. You could just zoom a different direction if you want to pot up...you arent relying on your kb's no more? hehe.

Garment....Glaviers are up close and personal. keep them with distance or stunn, kb, or dull them.

When you get to I think lvl 73 or 76+ you get a 5 arrow shot with every arrow shot a chance to knockback.

Depends. If the Glavier can get tons of stuns and dulls in. then the glavier.

If the bowman can keep knocking back and doing the strong crits then the bowman will survive. I think now adays pure str bow man rock all other builds.
