Don't wanna flame or anythink, but I think that Bard is mentioned more as a sub for warrior than Cleric. However, I never thought about that sub. I'd be interested in the skills to take, too...
I wanna be on the top of it
I wanna live for the fun of it
I wanna speak for just a little bit

Erm... I wanted to say that is mentioned more often than cleric. Personally, I'm a warrior without a sub. I'm doing some semi-farming stuff atm to have enough SP for a sub, so I have time to choose.
AFAIK most of the cleric buffs (especially the best ones) disappear when you switch back to your warrior weapon. In Bard you can use Moving March, which won't disappear and Noise. The first one will incrase your moving speed (yay as a heavy armor wearer
) and the second will prevent the aggro mobs from attacking you, like a personal therapy circle without heal.
Also, my theory: If you wear robe you'll have a much more balanced defence. I don't do it personally, because I like the style of the heavy armor better.

1st of all skills that you must get is REVERSE, this skill is for res wizards and int chars which died when you was fighting.
Maybe can get INOCENSE too, works like pills, but only costs mana
I think that only that skills because another skills need MAGICAL DAMAGE, and a warrior doesnt have

could be, but only for moving march, which means more speed, but only this skill, because almost all bard skills needs to have THE HARP EQUIPED,so if you change to another weapon, the buff is over.
Better keep with cleric, res ppl is better that only give xtra speed
Venus - Ormus - Mage/Cleric - RETIRED
Maya - Pericles - Cleric - ACTIVE
Both Cleric and Warrior offer you the option of Lt. Armor, but the Cleric passives only apply when your rod is equiped.
I would recommend cleric to 1hd warriors and bard to 2hd/axe warriors. This is because you probably do not want to fool with your shield as well as the weapon switch to cast spells then fight.
Here is some basic info I COPIED FROM ANOTHER USER
Buff stay after weapon switch
1. Cleric
- Healing Cycle
- Bless
- Holy Word
- Recovery Division (that's the name I think, haven't gotten it yet)
- Body Blessing (Only stays on other players if you switch, you lose it yourself)
2. Bard
- Mana Cycle
- Moving March
- Noise
- Temptation

As a warrior - cleric you should never die... ever...
Bards are useful and have nice buffs, but wont keep you alive, which being a warrior is your main concern
.
Dont waste your sp on the cleric offenisve attacks, or its buffs till you get the +defense ones at 30+ (tho only if you want to buff your friends, you wont be able to buff your self then go back ot being a warrior)
Get Bless spell, you will love the talent, just switch to your cleric rod, cast switch back to your warr. weapon and kill away ... your hp wont drop.
Cycle of healing is nice, very good for killing gitants on your own, its a HoT (heal over time) so just cast it before the fight then charge away - maywish to chnage weapons and cast it again mid fight.
You can probably get away with just those spells (tho you need lvl 30 before you can use healing cycle)
Get ressurection aswell, just a useful skill for all situations.
If you wont some more healing power get the group heals (healing divison and group healing at the lower levels), These use more mana than the single tareget heals but dont require you have a target selected to cast so are easier and faster to come to switch weapons and cast which will save your life more often.
If you are a duel axe/2h sword warrior dont bother with the shield, you will only have your cleric rod in your hand for about 3 seconds (unless you want to act as a healer) in that time you can cast your spell and switch wepaosn again, you may take one slightly bigger hit than normal, but dont worry about it.

Vindicator, that not true.
Yes the Str and Int buffs do, and the +defense buffs also cancel onyourself, HOWEVER, they do not cancel on other people, that means you are able to buff the party with +defense buffs, and go in warrior mode, which great when your in a small group with no full time healer.
