I've watched a blader go against a full STR archer, but the archer lost...so i was thinking of making a bower to see if i can make it a player worth fighting....

P.S I have lots of EXP in silkroad...

so any advice would be appreciated

im pure str light/cold bow... sos+2 bow right now(lvl 42) and 9gap.

i can kill almost any pure int or int based build no problem, blades... easy. but for somereason when i fight a glaiver, i get owned everytime. i mean i have 4459 hp(roughly, im not in game right now but i think thats about right) and with full sos+3 protector set, and i still get absolutly anilated when i face glaivers. i think its cause that they have like ghost spear prince and soul spear truth while i have only lvl 33 skills.

Fully farmed = ownage... have you tried ghost walking away? when i fight glaivers i usually ghost walk away when am having trouble usually they don't ghost walk too and you can easily throw in a strong bow as they're running towards you.

I'm the same lvl as u hark, 42 with 9 gap farming.... I can pretty much annihilate an int, but bladers take some time, and glaviers get annoying with their stuns.... Overall, bowman aren't that bad, they get a ton better once u get the new skills that just came out.

Offtopic: Hark where are you farming at? Because right now I'm at bunwangs and there are too many gold bots.... I need a better place to farm. Any suggestions?

umm... i was at dead ravine but got mad when the burn killed my wolf after i was done fighting, so now im just below the ravine at maongs. i only had 1 person there with me today so i guess not to much competition... tho the spawn rate there isnt as good as id like.

i dont realy like to phantom away much, makes me look like a puss. i mean i am pure str and thats why i picked it cause i dont have to run away like int chars would. so mabey next time im in a pvp that maters ill try that. thankx for the tip

I'm thinking about going for Ujigis/Mujigis but idk... not sure how fast I'll be able to kill them. Have you tried those before? I can't get on sro right now so i can't check

Edit: I've got a full sos set and an sos bow as well so idk

umm those are lvl 51 arnt they? isnt the point of farming to kill fast? either way its your choice if you like it go for it

I think they're 49.. but whatever I'll check tomorrow I'm going to bed.

lol, thats the common thought of everybody. However, at lower levels all a bow has is crits and distance. So phatoming is the smart thing to do. Some people will tell youre a puss, but feck ask a blader to stop using a shield and a glavier to stop using his stun and knockback. Those are the advantages of there builds, just use it

Bowers do get a lot better with the new skills....

But omg @ bladers. They have gotten to much better. Bleed and Impotent totally annihilate me.

Exactly.. what do you think Phantom Walk is for? It is a tactic that is very useful for ranged builds. Unless you are level 75+ and have stun and knock back as a archer, your only defensive tactic is to Phantom away to repot and launch a Strong Bow. I have seen level 75+ archers use it against 75+ glaivers to gain range. I use it when I PvP as a 64 archer.

the problem is i have lvl 1 phantom walk, meaning i only go like 10 meters with it... whats the range on glaive like 4 meters or soemthign? so they realy onlly have to walk a few feet to hit me again. and i dotn think i can cast a 5 second strong bow in 2seconds time it takes em to walk a couple feet.

how long... for sure, not estimate id liek to see some kind of char or something, does strong bow take now? and is it just the last book or all of them? and about the lvl 1 phantom walk, i am at 9gap right now its not possable for me to upgrade it yet.

The casting times for ALL the books of strongbow have been reduced and are now equal to that of Anti Devil.

Run = repeadetly clicking on the ground to escape
Phantom = 1 button followed by an attack.

Fought a nuker in armor\prot with Mana Shield, Castle shield, & Ice Wall. There was only about 30 seconds where they had no wall to protect them. So while they were using these skills, i just used kb arrow to disrupt their attacks, then phantom, kb arrow, phantom, kb arrow *walls down*, 11k Strongbow crit then the whining commenced

lol nice, yesterday i was fighting this nuker, he was lvl 43 spear pure int with the new fire nuke. i put up firewall tower, he nuker me, i strong bow him for 3k.... end of story lmao. so then he wants to go again, and again with my fire wall tower up his nuke does absolutly no damage to me, and i ad crit him for 2.something k, agian he was down in 1hit. then he kept comeplainin about how i was llvl 50 whereing lvl 30 gear with lvl 42bow.... lmao right, then i partied him and i think he went to cry cause he logged off right then and there.

Bowers do no get thing like knockback and stun untill high lvl...lvl 73 and 76
Glaivers have that from very low lvls...it also depends on how good you are at pvp
if you stand and shoot you have better chance at losing to glaivers/bladers
you should try grasswalk when they get near you mabey.

Anyways i think they are both good builds and both of them do need luck sometime to win...

bow are the strongest at pvp if they fully farm. On pacific Superstar is strongest and he is a sun bow user, he pwns sun glaives and sun blade and shield in pvp.

im not totaly sure...but i think he is str but he has awsome items...your gear is very very important too...imo more important than build when pvping
