Full Str Bow or 70:70?

Post by lgnd »

Hey i was wondering which build i should take for a Bowman? I was gonna go Full Str but then someone said " No 70:70 is better than Full Str" so then i was thinking on going to 70:70 but i dont know how to do a 70:70 or which stats to add to make it 70:70? Can someone explain about which is better Full Str or 70:70? and if its 70:70 which stats i should put. Oh and one more thing i dont know what to wear protector or garment? Im trying to build a light and ice bowman i guess...

age old debate. you won't get a clear cut answer. But use these 2 questions as your guideline to pick the build.

do you have lots of gold to burn? go 70:70 bow

are you a poorass? go pure str bow

edit: whoops, didn't see the second part ^^

well, for the stats of 70:70 bow, every time you level up, you will go naked and add str or int stat points so that your phys and mag balance is close to 70% each. you'll get 70% phys and 69% mag or vice versa. so just lvl and add stat points accordingly.

you don't waste more money on a 70:70 bow. You need more money for fully blued gear to get to 80:80 balance at the end game. therefore u need more money.

if your gonna go pure str bow, then you need fire. Fire has teh phys dmg buff and phys dmg passive. (you don't NEED firewall, but how u use it is up to you) Fire is essential to any str build so its unwise to not get fire. Ice however in a str build is not as vital and can be skipped.

If you plan on an ice bower and you are going to use mana shield you should go 70:70 with protectors

There are some exceptions but still...
Pc Specs:
E6750 @ 3.328 Ghz w/Rosewill Z-3
Bfg 8800 GT OC 700/1600/1000
Gygabyte P35-DS3L Mobo
4GB GeiL DDR2 800 Mhz 5-5-5-15
OCZ GameXstream 700W

Then again. it's up to you, depending on what you want out of your build.
