Is there any way to decrease you're main mastery level?

It takes so long to get to 7 gap or 9 gap. Is there any way to decrease my mastery level???

You can collect a lot of "Curst Hearts" from the Resuscitation Potion Quest, then edit your skills and masteries. As long as you don't have any skills that require that level of the mastery, you can downgrade the mastery level.
For example, if my Cleric mastery level is 40 and I got the Offering skill at level 40, then I'd need to use a Resuscitation Potion to get rid of Offering before I lowered my mastery level. Either way, start collecting those "Curst Hearts" quest items and if you plan on lowering your mastery level I'd set aside at least 1M gold.
