i know that every1 says that bladers lvl up slow. but how slow? like 2x slower or more?

Bladers must allways use big gap and thay kill mobs slowly,so that makes tham ultimate slow lvlers..

NO NO NO. IMHO, this a legend that bladers lvl very slow, i just happend that that ppl think liek that. Maybe it's because of bladers low damage.

But lets see, if bladers dealing less damage, they hitting more...so, what the difference if you hit 2 hits with huge damage with the same time as 5 fast hits with lower damage.

I was a glavier, then blader...and i don't see big difference between them. Ofcourse you will lvl faster with bow

But i have to agree, bladers are slowest at lvl'g, but not much

hmm well if i had a good +3 or +5 blade could i kill things and lvl faster? btw would partying with some of my nuker friends help me lvl faster?

They simply lack a bit behind the glaviers, because of their lower damage and that they are just like all str builds dependent on the critical, if they want to kill.

But the chains are simply too cool. I don't know why people don't like bladers, they are my favorite characters.

um...bladers dont not have to have a gap...im not a blader yet but im gonna full farm at 52 with gaive then switch...i dont think bladers lvl really slow just little slower than glaivers...

is it hard for them to farm?



should i just go bow or would i be gettin owned alot in pvp?

Farming is always hard Ofcourse you farm faster with pure int spear, but full farmed, and caped blader, is the sex in sro

yeah cant kill anyone cant be killed by anyone. However. Im 56 dual atm only with spear got no 56 sword. My lvl blader 3 hits fr it. They cant kill me with that low dmg. And im not farmed.

But i have the same PROBLEM i am not new to this game and i need to start a blader but all keep tell me that they sucks but still i will do it its good fun and if u lvlup with europe in party u will lvlfast trust me

Well I started a pure str blader last day and reached level 17, then bought a som shield with br 18 and a sos blade (both lvl 16 ofc), so I went to have some PvP and I fought another blader who was at least level 21 and it was cool at first but after 10 minutes and nobody in the floor it very annoying...

but at higher lvl's glaivers>bowers me thinks

i slow because of melee type and little AOE skill...but it getting slower when ksing nuker around...and kd doesnt help you to SAVE ur mob when there is euro char around...

But bladers can grind differently than ints can they not. The whole mobbing-tanking thing looks really fun and not altogether that slow.

farming about 15-20k rite now so i cant lvl up to 33 and farm at 42. but i still dont know whcih to pick. btw how do bladers farm? do they just use that 1 sword throw skill(dont kno wut its called) and then do kd stab kd stab till its dead?

BINGO!!! i would still be a glaiver but the second i saw the lvl 51 chain skills i was in love with blade i didnt care of low dmg i just wanted to do that skill. but i got hacked on my lvl 36 (glockshna the lvl 34 listed below) char deleted so i am gonna be either a pure int spear or maby if i am up to it a sword nuker got 7 days to think........

my fiancee' and I built str builds on Athens at the same time... she was glavie and I was blade.

We got up near lvl 30 before we quit... but her AOE strikes allowed her to gain 2-3 lvl more than me. She wasn't WAY ahead, but she was pulling ahead.

Blades use chain attacks in PVE. Grey Wolf helps, too.
Blades use KD, stab against PVP and giants. I think their only AOE is a much later KD skill; it has been too long since I played that char.

What I want to know is how a chinese blader fares against a euro swd/shd war? (Probably just depends on how many magic skills the chinese farmed sp for...)

the blader would beat the sword/shield euro cuz s/s euro is invincible for like a minute, then its vulnerable and should die in like a kd and 3 stabs.

warriors cant kill any chinese strengths, they have a hard enough time beating int's

Started in January , and stopped grinding when euro came out to make a new char. reached only lvl 40... Gap 5 , Str , Shield , Cold , Little bit of Lighting and Force... No Gt

+ I chat just too too much on Union and stuff


I play everyday minimum 2 hours or something..

I started Blade character few days ago.It ROCKS.

I have a retired lvl 30 pure str blader. I have to say that it was an awesome character, but while bladers lvl slow, the gains that you get should more than make up for the slow leveling.

uhhh i had a sos 24 sword and i lvld to 29 in one day....
i dont consider that slow...

My experiences with a blader, I still love them btw.

They are the slowest levelers, no argument there, but you can speed it up a bit. Here are some of the thing I did to achieve that.

- Use a nice +3 Bow with high phy. att. & cri. when grinding at green or lower mobs. I did all the black archer/bowmen quests with my sos bow. Its way faster especially on ranged mobs.

- Let mobs come to you, aggro as many as you can handle and kill in a circle with your wolf finishing the mob. Especially usefull when you get the second KD book that has AOE effect. Thats the funniest move in sro imho. I always get a laugh out of slapping those mobs to the ground.

- Buy a monkey if you can afford it. Speeds up grindin a lot, especially when using your secondary weapon, which should be the bow.

PVP-ing a blader around your level is a pure waste of time and pots. If you get lucky with your crits, you can kill every other char. Dont even bother with pvp if you dont have a high damage/crit blade & a shield with BR 16+.

All in all bladers are the coolest looking chars with the nicest moves and with all those new party mobs they can even level up pretty fast in a good exp. share party.

so would this be a good blade build:

80 sword
80 fire
80 light
60 bow

would that be good?
