Well hi everyone ... !
Im new to this Forum and i already used the Searchtool but i couldnt really find some good information about what i want to know..
First of all i have some questions:
1) Pure Str as Rogue ?
2) Should i get all skill for Rogue (i mean only the dagger skills)
3) The most important thing... what sub class ?
3.1) I know that Bard can get a speed booster but is that the only reason to take Bard ? Or should i go Cleric to get some heal etc... i heard also about a lvl 40 skill Blessing recovery or sth. like that .....how does it work ?
Thx

The main skills that you will almost always have on for Bard/Cleric as a sub for Rogue are...
Bard: Moving March (Moving Speed Up), Noise (Makes Aggressive Monsters Go Away)
Cleric: Recovery Division (HP recovery every few seconds for 5 minutes)
Spells that you can use if you bother switching back and forth...
Bard: Mana Cycle (Restores MP over time), Dancing Skills (If you want to support a party with another bard), and a Confusion move (Can't remember the name, but it makes a monster attack other monsters)
Cleric: Healing Spells (Restores HP, obviously), Resurrecting Spells (Brings people back to life), Bless Spell (Huge defense boost for 45 seconds), Buffs (For other people when you're playing support)
You probably won't use the other spells much. I only have experience with PvE (Player Versus Environment... That is... Monsters). I have a level 15 Bard/Cleric (5 level gap = SLOW leveling) and a level 20 Rogue/Bard.
Bard skills will make you a trickier Rogue. You'll be able to fight normal monsters without having the aggressive ones mob you. (Champions and Giants still attack you on sight.) You'll be able to get from monster to monster faster as well. In addition, you don't have to worry about MP if you remember to cast Mana Cycle on yourself every so often.
As a Cleric, the only spell you'll have on most of the time is Healing Division. I don't have it yet, but it supposedly helps a lot. 5 minutes of HP recovery sounds really useful. You'll be able to resurrect and heal, so those are up sides.
Personally, I preferred being able to run faster and have aggressive normal monsters leave me alone. Getting a whole submastery for a level 40 skill is too much for me. It's hard enough to level past 20, unless you grind all day, play for a long time, or buy premium items. Bard gives you instant gratification and useful skills. Cleric requires more patience, but you'll be able to heal and you'll find surviving much easier later on.
P.S. Another upside of Bard, even though I have nothing against Rogue/Cleric. At level 70 (Yeah, you can dream about getting there, but still...) you get Swing March. This gives you +80% movement speed. That's ridiculously fast. It doesn't stack with Scud, but at least you'll be fast all of the time.

Ah thx for the replys, especially blockandmac !
But now im more confused than befor xD.
Because the 80% speed sound very interesting also the noise skill which lure the aggresive mobs away.
But the Healing Devision would help you a lot in PvP ?
RAWR !!! xD
This is really annoying
Btw how does the noise skill works ? It is like a buff where you get for a specific time a shield against aggr. mobs ?

In my skill list, healing division does something completely different (heals party members based on their current HP, lowest first (even if the lowest is your full HP wizard)). You have your healing cycle, which does this for 16 seconds (just like the bard's mana cycle).

For 1vs1 PvP, cleric is the most useful. For solo PvE, I would find bard more practical. In a group (either PvP or PvE) you will most likely not use your secondary class much anyway, but as an alternative role in the group you could pick warrior for group protection or bard to dance in combination with another bard.

Ah ok thx for the infos but i still have got some questions ...
What is a dance combination ? lol
Cant you use the healing devision on yourself without party ?
So that would mean you are the only 1 in a one man party so the healing devision works only on you ?
Sry im a newbie in euro SRO !

The dance series can be found at
http://www.shimpedia.net/sro/ske_bard7.html, and can only be used in a party with another bard using a non movement music from
http://www.shimpedia.net/sro/ske_bard3.html.
If you are going to use healing division just for yourself, you might just as well use any of the other healing spells for the same effect. It's mostly healing cycle that you will want to use. At level 60 you will get about 2300-2700 HP in one shot from the normal healing spells. Healing cycle will give you 16 seconds of 673 HP per second. That's almost like swallowing an (X)L HP potion every second.

Sorry, guys. That was a typo. I meant Recovery Division, NOT Healing Division. =)

Where I come from, that does not qualify as a typo.

You are correct tho, that skill does last for 5 minutes, although I really am not familiar with it, since I lack the level requirements at this moment. It does seem quite powerful, but does it stay while you unequip the rod?
Edit: I must be missing something. That whole recovery series is much more powerful than the healing series. Why would one using the healing series over the recovery series? Are there additional requirements for it, like having to wear robes?

Well i think it will stay after you unequip the rod.... it doesnt say required weapon (on my opinion).
Well i think the recovery series can only be used since lvl 40+ im not sure.

I will go for bard for the reason Swing/Moving March and Noise. Well especially Noise that let you to level in a more efficient way by disable monsters ability that are auto-aggro us. Lvl 5 maxed prevention till lvl 70 mob. (P/S: Does not apply to giants, champions)
Question I wanna ask, whether it has a deep cooldown time or not? cos it lasts for a whooping 900 secs

True, but the healing series continues far beyond lvl 40. Why would anyone continue to get/use it if the recovery series is that much more powerful?

It has no cooldown time that I've noticed; once it's over, just recast it (or recast it before it runs out).

Well im not sure but it seems both has their good skills and some useless one !
I'va just noticed that there is a skill for lvl 80 called Healing Orbit... it seems like Healing Cycle but for the whole party with 1819 HP recovery for 16sec !

yes but you should go into stealth, creep up to the person, hit them like 3 times and they should die with crits and then run away before their teammates even knew wtf just happened lol.
and chinese cant catch up to you.

It seems the healing series has a slightly larger range (30m vs 25m for recovery), but more importantly: recovery seems to require faith, and faith requires robes. Any high level cleric able to confirm that you need to wear robes to use the recovery series?

Robes as a requirement for Faith simply means, that you need to wear one in order to get the passive bonuses of the skill. The skill itself however is a requirement for other skills. For those you do
not need to wear robe.

Ok, I guess my question remains then: why would any cleric above level 40 continue to use the healing series over the recovery series?

@MrFudge does the run and hit tactic also work with LightArmor ?

The main reason I would give is mana management. The skill Recovery does basically the same as Healing but for being a more potent spell (higher healing value, higher reflection) it also requires a lot of mana.
I have to admit though, that I hardly ever use anything else than Group Healing and Healing Division and that even though I save up statpoints for possibly going 2:1 in the future I don't run out of mana often. So your argument doesn't lose much of its validity.
