Pure Str or 80:80 bow?

Which one is best?

I have lvl 43 pure str bow in Odin and it rocks. Problem is I need sp and thinking of making new char when new server comes out.

So ima farm at 16 in archers or maybe in Europe at lvl 16. But I have to be Int in order to farm at 16 successfully since there is no sun bow in a new server. So if i do pure in from 1-20, im forced to do an 80:80 hybird bow. Is it better than pure str though?

Try asking Undutchable here or in his youtube vids/channel maybe, he has both a str hybrid and pure str bow so hes more qualified to give you a good answer.

Or glavie for 80:80 bow, but I think str hybrid like liquidsmooth would be better.

you should choose pure str cuz pure str crits higher than hybrid.. when you add int, your crits decreases..imo

80 80 crits harder than str with equal bows, just not much higher.

asking undutchable is only if youre able to afford sosun at higher levels, he is mainly succesfull cause he is so filty rich..

Since you like your str build than you should take a good look at STR hybrid. There is a very good guide in the stickies by CaseyD4. It basically is played just like a pure str but a little bit less health and a little bit more overall damage.

If you go with the 70:70 then you have a lot less hp and that much more damage. You do get to take mana shield to at least 40% with this build and you can nuke for nice AOE damage. Better than bezerker IMO. Also faster leveling since you kill quicker. Again though its a big drop in Hp from what you are used to.

There is no best bow build. They are all pretty decent. They all have there pros and cons.

Of course since you are bow you can farm at any level easier than any other str build. Why not farm at 52?

str hbyrid sux major as.s, i sold my lvl 80 str hybrid cz they suk so hard, now i'm using lvl 72 70:70 farming and he seems much much beta den str hybrid or go pure str, they also seem very very strong, str hybrid definately no.

So you didnt sell a Level 80 HYB bow then and can you remember your Balances ??

wtf u talking about, i said lvl72 farming (masteries lvl 72, char lvl 80) 8 lvl gap, my balances were phy 92% mag 65%, gears 50int and 50 str bonuses and all +5 max blue, bow was lvl72 +6 max blue crit 10 phy attk 80%, was on xian name was On3H1t
