Should I start over?

For my first build I created a glavie character with lightning as main skill and cold as secondary.
I read now that it is actually best to have fire as it is strongest. is lightning as main and then cold really that bad?
Also, I havent created a pure strength glavie! I created what I think is called a hybrid strength glavie (2 in strength, 1 in int every time). Is this really bad?
So should I start over or is this okay?
Thanks!!

If you got enuff gold do that skill relocation quest at any potion shop or you can buy 5 skill relocation if you want to waste real money no real reason to start over unless you want to =D....

if you're lower then lvl 30..it shouldn't be that hard to start over again.

IF you are pure str glavier. Max out fire, spear skill, ice,and lighting.
Fire for offense and mag defense
Spear skill for phy attack
Ice for phy defense
lighting for speed and maybe increase in mag attack
Fire lvl80, Spear skill lvl80, ice lv60, and lighting lvl80

from the sounds of it you are not using fire....this is not only bad for you because of the weaker inmue you stated, but also because the fire tree has the phys attk buff....which is basically a requirement for any str build.
for the amount skill reallocation costs u might find someone who will pl u to 40 again in like 2 days with a new char

yes, u should start again .. a glavie without fire is
WEAK!
most STR characters just use light for the speed ;l
cold isnt really suitable for glavie but i guess you could use it if you really like it ..

Yeah, a glavier must have fire as the imbue skill, because it does much more damage then lightning and ice, and glaviers are meant for dealing damage.
Since you are 40, it wouldn't be that hard to reset your skills, but it wouldn't really be a walk in the park, so as i see it, you have 2 choices, spend some time gaining those skill relocation stuff, or you could make a new character, but getting your new character would take much more time then to reset your skills.
I would just reset skills.

Ok listen here. The reason everyone tells you fire is a must is not because of the imbue. If they do they are wrong!! The reason you need fire is for the passive and the buff that increases your physical damage. If you look in my signature I did a test that shows that the difference in damage between fire and light is around 1% for a str hybrid. That is nothing. So you have a few choices.
1 start over
2 skill reallocation to switch to fire fast.
3 keep a large gap and slowly fill in your fire buffs, possibly keep lightning as your main tree and just have fire as sub.
4.stick with light and weapon and forget everything else. Only good if you dont care about pvp. You wont be that strong but you will need very little sp so you can carry a small gap.
5. Prepare to farm at lvl 52. I have a money making guide in my sig if you need help with that. You will need a very good weapon and they are expensive.
Oh and make sure you add all str from now on.

start over...thats my opinion
if it was 2 int, 1 str you could just use spears instead of glaive but 2 str and 1 int isnt good...hehe
