Im thinking about getting 10k sp when im level 16 [which i am] then just leveing with a 5 gap ... till like level 30 then at level 52 start farming again with a [9 gap by then ] good or bad or leave your easiest sp farming strageties i want to farm but i also want to level
help!!!

I would do it all at 16 then have a breeze levelling the rest of the way.

Well for a new person to sro, as your first character. You have already made the first step by reading this forum and trying to make an educated guess at what you are doing. As for sp farming as a noob, it will benifit you to gap while leveling. Do remember that gapping will make you level alot slower.

My suggestion would be to get 10k at the den, then level with a 4 gap to level 43, and start your 9 gap to level 52. I grinded a bower at 52 with 9 gap for 100k sp.

For a new player farming your whole sp at 16 has no reasoning because farming at the den is hard, your constantly competeing and you can't do anything with your guild/union for you can't even equip a job till 20. You have no gold for a good bow anyways as you stated.

So to keep your sanity atleast for your first one or two characters, level with a 4 gap and you will be able to experience sro.

I agree with Glavie's Girl, farming at the den is very competitive and depending on your build, quite overwhelming too, I farmed there to 5k but decided to move on to farm at 42, lvl 16 sos bows are alot these days for a lvl 16 person (6.5 mil on sparta). ive seen people get so board of farming at the den they stop playing, its sad. In my opinion spreading out farming between lvl 16, 42, 52, 64, and 72, would be least overwhelming and would allow for some more fun being a higher lvl. and of course more fun jobbing w/ your guild. In short my stratagy would be: farm 10k at the den, 75k on bunwhangs (lvl 42), 75k at lvl 52 on penons, and 100k at lvl 64, and about 100k at lvl 72. that would give you a total of 360k sp which is a little more than your current goal. one thing to note, farming at higher lvls can be harder if you arent int.

You should be wearing garm.

Farm As much as you can at 16, if you don't have the patience then farm at least 50k, get to 52 farm some more, and farm again at cap.

you either 9 gap and farm as much as u can or you 0 gap.

there is no in between.

Garms give you increased moving speed....so yes they are good for farming.
