Just some questions so I can get a better understanding of what I should do. Before I get started, I must say I do have a mind of my own, I don't want to do what I think I should do, but I want to do what "others" have done in the pass and I want to be a perfect cookie cutter character of a class that can solo closes to perfection.

PvP may be a factor later but I doubt it.

Right now I'm farming SP and the only thing I have put points into is lightning. I would rather let the dust settle before I choose between fire and Ice. I'm thinking long term. After the cap goes to 90, that is the max cap isn't it?

I played a pure str glavie for over a year and only got to 68. So this will be my last char I make.

So some more questions, why do nukers that use spears use prot/amor and nukers that use sword/shield wear garment?

Which of those two can drop the same mob the fastest? Which is better in PvP. Whats the deciding factor between sword/shield and spear?

Can you one shot green/grey mobs if I just max lightning and nothing else? What if I do no weapons and all three light/fire/ice? Can I be effective in PvE and PvP.

Thanks all for your input. I hope to get some validation and some help. And yes I have done some research but still would like this cleared up a bit more.

s/s have better defense with their castle shield, and you can also kd and stab after nuking

Spears do more damage, but you lose a lot of phys defense, so thats why they wear armor.
