i really want to build the ULTIMATE meleer..and dmg wise it hink rogue would be the way to go since they will be able to hit as hard as a wizard can with critical...but i think since i have full str i mite as well choose a subclass with full str attribute..thus the warrior class.

but i really dont see why i SHOULD have a warrior subclass other than for the full set heavy armor for the defense...any enlightenments?

CRITs are luck, and you don't want to make a build base on luck eh? Damage wise i think 2hs hit hard.

i myself am doing mastering in rogue with warrior sub class... i can suggest a few things.. unless u sp farm a lot, your gonna need to stick with one weapon each class. i startd doing crossbow and dagger for rogue and 2 H swrd for warrior... i find myself not having enough sp. so make it easier on yourself and limit urself to two weapons. unless you really have a lot of sp then go for all of it why not.

Criticals are luck?
well u will get more criticals if u had a high critical on ur weapon

Higher crits on weapons only means a higher chance, actually getting a crit is luck

I'm a 2h warrior + dagger rogue doing good so far

i am a 2handed warrior with rogue as my sub-class and it is guddd
the rogue has a crossbow skill wher you sacrifice half your hp and sum defense but it makes your attack alot stronger and i mean alot
but if you mob gets close enough i just switch to my 2handed sword and i get all my hp and defense back

I am the other way around, Warrior/Rogue for all the reasons you mentioned. Is there any difference other than I first put points into the Warrior first then Rogue second?

The good thing about warrior rogue or vise versa is that when you put use a skills such as desperate daggers, you have the heavy armor to back you up...

Don't forget that warriors have those "skin" skills that increase ur phys or mag defence temporarily rather like the fan and castle sheild techinques in china but its got quite a short duration if im not mistaken and probably a long cooldown time, not to mention the possibility of having to weapon switch to use them: a major problem with skills in subclasses imo
