Echo lvl 1 Bard Skill LOOK!

If i'm a rogue with xbow and im considering being bard even though im not sure yet cuz no one will answer my other post, should i get echo one? It increases my range by 2.5m but it doesnt say required wep. It does say the range of Music Pleasure line extends. Does it work withxbow?
