Making new char...i have no idea

So....im planning on making a hybrid spear. Ive been reading alot of the guides and other ppl's posts, but I still cant decide.
I kno im going to max ice. But im unsure which imbue i should get, Fire or Light.?.?.?
Can any1 plz give their opinions??

i think ice/light would be best because then you get the grasswalk and stuff but you miss out on imune = ( but id go with fire if you dont mind running slow or buying heeps of drugs

No, you need weapon skills higher. Hybrids do more damage with weapon skills than ints do. And u will be using them more at high levels.

you wont really need ice at 80. sure it helps, but fire spear and imo light are way more important. im hybrid spear and im doing 80 spear 80 fire 80 light 60 ice. ice to 60 because of the passive. it helps a lot. plus at that level you can get the last book of snow shield.
what do you plan on keeping your magic balance at?
