Would this be a good idea? With some pacheon skills, ice, and lightning using protector or armor? I was thinking becuase of some of the new skills i thought that it would be a nice idea.
Any opinions about this.

Might work with the snow shield...
In my opinion it's just a waste of time. Don't do it.

With the new mana shield it might indeed be cool.
But you would still miss the HP from a spear or the defense from a shield.
Hybrid bowers still rely on there crit to win in a pvp fight, I imagen a pure int bower also still needs crit to win but he has even lesser hp then a hybrid.
And how high the crit is on youre bow and how high the extra crit increase is, if you die in 2 blows from any build you just dont have the change to crit. So go hybrid or str =P

This is one of the best discussion about pure int bow,
before new skill update.

I would think that with new skills it would do even better. Though most people would say that better than crap is still crap.
But anyway give it a good read.

Just seems like a waste to go pure int bow and not be a plain nuker...even as pure int spear you'd have higher magic attack, stun moves, new skills and more hp to boot, versus the bow's new moves only. Your crits, one of the advantages of the bow build, would not be effective at all since your str would be so low.
New skills could have made a little difference, but not any lifesaving changes.

Not a favored build though.
That being said, it's up to you! That's the beauty of the game. It's your choice to build it, test it and see what happens...worst case, you can always re-skill as one of the more standard int builds. If it works for you, you'll probably have one of the least used builds in the game.
