I would think assuming that the rogue has farmed, a Rogue Warrior would be the best. An Ideal Rogue would to get all the skills in Rogue, and then as much as you want to get in warrior. If possible, the strategy may look something like this: You pull out your poisoned crossbow and fire at the enemy. You take out ur daggers and go invisible, and then use the stealth skill for daggers skill and deal extra damage. Then, to finish him off in melee you take out your 2hander or s/s. Depending on the class you are fighting you would use a different weapon. When in a party if the party lacks a tanker, you take the roll as a tanker. With tankers, You use the cross bow. With only one or two tankers, daggers. This scenario is baseically for farmed characters. How does it sound leave feedback.

why dont you just stick to 1 thing.

every party will probably have 1 or 2 warrios, thats all you need.

they should be able to keep the mobs off the other guys, if they cant then leave the party.

rogue suck in my opinion, wanna go daggers? nah ill take a warrior instead.
wanna go crosswbow? nag ill take a wizard.

and if ur like wahhhh daggers does more damage than warrior, then i say okay but you die in 3 hits with your buff on, and wizards still outdamage you.

I was thinking of a rouge cleric, but people said that was bad.

But I only wanted to be a Cleric for the rezzing and healing.

I'll take warrior instead

Why? If i shot the warruir with crossbow and then hw charges my, i turn invisible, i sneak attack him, and finish him off. Plus im pure str.

i think the point of a rouge is not to be able to tank non-stop like a warrior, or deal out massive dmg like a wizard. but rather somewhere in the middle of those to, meaning: being able to hold its own when needed AND deal out pretty decent amount of dmg.

It would work you can't attack and then go right into stealth.

I like rogue because its the hybrid of the Euro its part tanker part damage dealer but outshine Warriors or Wizards in those fields. Im Lvl 30 and right now my rouge can handle any build i get the drop on i haven't met a 1H-sword to pvp yet though. I 1-hit wizards and with stealth they don't see me coming and I and kill Warriors easily too....

In PvE i can 2 hit general mobs just like wizards and and deal out massive damage with my crits. Also when i turn Desperate Dagger off i become an ok tank...my aggros not that high but i can take a beating.....i think overall rogue is the most versatile class and alot of ppl overlook its usefulness

Xemmas, your right, they are really good classes, just have to know how to use them.

Xemnas do u use dagger or xbow or both? What? And whats your tactic to killing them.

my euro is xbow atm i want to know if its a good choice or not to add dagger also hope someone that has tryed them both can reply thnx

Currently i am doing both dagger and xbow skills i did some calculating and found that you would barely have to sp farm to get all the rouge moves and max out everything thing go for it get all the rouge skills thats what i am doing i am just not doing a sub if you are going to do a sub then you have to find that out yourself

Im building on a full str roque.. sub bard/clerc costs lots op sp but pwns in pvp xD it isnt for the ones who want to have a quik lving build but it is sweet when you want to spent ur time to it

hail everybody, i'm making a fullstr only dagger rogue, and i wanna know if i will need to do farming a lot if i want to get all skills at lvl 80.
btw, nice topic .

nope.. only dagger no subs or anything .. no farming but lame charc in my opinion

dam i want to remove xbow now and go dagger ;(

same i am lvl 13 actually farming at a gap of 9 levels and farm around 800 sp. i was lvl 10 when mastery lvl 1 and my lvl 11, i pull it to mastery lvl 4. as i start to get bore so i learn bow basic skill and dagger but using more on bow for grinding. at lvl 13, when i hit 9 lvls diff, i start to pump mastery to lvl 8 pulling 5 lvls gap again. so the moment i hit 9 lvl gaps, i pull to 5 and continue. Though in future i nid to stay put at 9 lvl gaps longer in order to master all rouge skill.

dude i use the same build dont diss it. it actually pwns w/ parties I can help of in diff ways and soloing i can live + do good damage. not to mension the cash I make w/ the masks

dont 9 gap keep a 3 gap or so and btw rouges r pretty fun later

Why would you want to attack your own team
Imo rogues are a lot better suited for pvp then pve.

3 gaps is enough? for i am trying to learn the whole tree. so i am like pumping to both bow and dagger. yea i know bout the mask earning money. i saw ppl selling 35k. but in other server is like 100k or more. so if i can reach mask lvl hahah. i help to push up market price =X
