I had the same line of thought on a character I started in cSRO, so it's obvious that I find it a good combination. Depending on your party the sword/shield might even come in handy for leveling, because the damage you can take, or rather don't have to take, is just phenomenal. It's one of the builds I don't have to constantly look after as a cleric (as opposed to two handed sword warriors that don't turn their defensive buffs on).

good but training with s/s is also good because of less sitting down, you could do first hit with the bash attack with 2h sword and then do a weapon switch for max damage.

haha, but with 2handed..the dmg that i took is really too high.. too easy to die when fighting giant with other normal monsters hitting me at the same time.
