I want to make a warrior, however, I cannot decide between the 2-Handed Sword and the Dual Axes, mainly because I'm not familiar with the European version at all, and thus do not know about the damage of each weapon.

As far as I know, Axes get a speed buff and 2-Handed Swords get a damage buff. So, taking into consideration the respective buffs of each class, which class deals overall the better damage?

As far as I know a 2 handed sword would be dealing more damage yet it also is slower then Dual axe as you may guess. Says Dual Axe provides more defense then the 2h Sword so would probably give up some offense while 2h sword is pure offense. My guess.
