Fill STR/Fire/Glavie what armor should i choose?
can anbody help me out im gonna make a new character and ima be full str and using the force fire and ima be using glavie as a weapon which clothes should i wear?
for pve go with garment...since u are full str u have so much hp u can't die from mobs..unless u suck with ur skills...
pvp is a different story though...if u are facing more str than int go with armor...if u are facing a lot of nukers..go with garment..and remember that u have a mag def bonus from ur fire buff...so...lastly if u are facing str and int pvp ...u might even consider protector set
but remember to take into consideration ur fire buff which gives u mag def.

nope the other way around i reckon, when your a at low lvl from 1 to 20 definitely armor, even if your full str and have lots of hp, monsters between 1-20 have absorlutely no magical attack, except the weird fire smash by bandit and black tiger's roar thingy, other then those two magic defence is useless, i say go armor so you can gather mobs of monsters to kill all in one, since you are a glavie user, ghost spear is awsome for gather then splash, this saves mp too in a sense, yes garment uses less mp and provides faster movement, but i think at those early lvl, having high physical defence is alot better, especially when you get mobbed by a horde of monsters. where as at lvl 30+ not sure till when, garment is definitely the way to go i do'nt know how it works but i wear full garment, and i take less damage then wearing full armor going up against a Hyecheon dude ( the headless stoners ) they don't look like they are throwing any magical punches or magic shots, but not sure why garment defend against those attack better >.> scorpians, death flower etc all magical... from there should be garment, but noob lvl? armor all the way.

umm..don't listen to this guy...u can still do the same stuff he's talking about with garment...plus less mana and increased movement speed is worth it...the faster u move..the faster ur gonna lvl...
and obviously he don't know what's he's talking about...hyecheon,scorpians and flower are all physical...cept for scorpian can give u poison status...
basically..if u see them actually hit u with a part of their body..they are physical...
if they shoot stuff..they are magical

I would have to agree with Katinka on this one. That guy obviously is very confused. I am creating a new pure STR character too and I have decided to go with garment for the first 30 levels. Once I get to level 30 I am going to go armour, just for the pure tank effect with lots and lots of HP.
This is a game, You're invited. www.lost.eu/572c4

since your pure str you will prob have loads of hp so go garment to reduce mana comsumption by 20 % as well as move faster....

I agree with Nss, go until lvl 24 or 32 full armor, not many magic attacks in the beginning, and moving speed?? I have a garment char and an armor char, but IF the garment moves faster... then it's really almost nothing more.. a little bit. So for the noob levels i think it 'll be armor. but do as u like.

I have to say garm benefits a STR/Fire alot... Besides the Magic Def, the mp cost reduce helps alot when using skills, buffs, and imbues to be able to save on mp pots... I find that at lvl 30ish I could still use Small MP pots and save a load of money...
The 20% running speed helps when grinding on spread out mobs such as flowers or other mobs... In effeciency, this will shorten the leveling time by a small %...maybe 5-10%
