Force to 80
Is there any good reason to level force past 72? I heard that is the level when you can res a lvl 80 character, but after that, is there anything worth sinking enormous piles of SP into it for?

Just to add, clerics and bards can heal in EURO
So, no point in wastin mastery in FORCE.

Force is gonna be good for pure INT's cause they have the vital spots that lower mag and phys defence by alot and you can spam them onto ppl and do a shit load of damage with a nuke.solidsnake wrote:Is there any good reason to level force past 72? yeah +1 .. even if other builds will become more efficient in the force-a-like-skills then it doesn't make the chinese force-tree useless.
I've been hearing all arround lately that force tree will be useless but nobody said something that really sounds reasonable.

if you take force at least max it out to help others and yourself, anyway it is already usefull but sad part is that vital spot skill is one of the most important skills for you in pvp but can be just canceled making it less useful.
If Joymax reduces the charge time of the skill and removed the cancel ability i would consider it more useful if you got fast fingers you can right mouse click it before people hit you.
Any good Guild needs a healer and resser....Chinese force is really great I think. In a guild war you will be most valuable.I would pay gold for a healer to join our guild and many others advantages
Too bad you dont play on our server
Happends...
go force all the way I think...if you have sp or have time for farming
Nice to hear another Healer plays SRO,btw
All respect,me...

Umm... Force isn't useless at all. It's the MOST useful skill. Here are my reasons why:
1) Target heal: Definitely helps a lot in wars or PvP. At 69 mastery, it's max at 4.4k which is about the same as 2 XL HP pots does. Once new skills are out, you'll get the bounce heal which will heal TWO people for a lot (though -35% or so on the second, so I've heard).
2) Area cure: Preliminary translations have concluded that the 2nd book of this may be a therapy-type deal where you get +xxx immunity added to your pre-existing buffs.
3) Therapy: Helps when you need to go to the bathroom really urgently and don't want to get mobbed. Book 3 currently repels normal and champion mobs. Also, easy way to get your HP/MP back during caping if you don't want to waste pots. There are other uses for this.. which the force users in this forum will know and probably use. (You guys know what I'm talking about~
)
4) VITAL SPOT: The most useful skill in the Force tree. Currently, you can stack 4 of each V.S. on your target, so two force-users will decimate anybody's parry and hit ratios to 0. Add to that the new skills which will reduce PDEF, MDEF, and PHY/MAG ATTACK POWER. Imagine 8 of each buff on you. There was even a PvP video of a nuker versus a glaiver. The nuker put one of each vital spot on the glaiver and... 2 nukes + 2 shouts later, glaiver was DEAD.
5) Self-heal: just jokingly.. gold bots use this
