Who thinks the bow is gunna own all at the update cause i sure do

As it was said in thousands of topics before...

Bow does get knockback and stun, but the damage doesn't increase, so it will be easier to survive, but the same old shitty damage which is dependent on the critical.

I voted for the kitty one, am i bad now :/

I never complained about dealing damage to any builds, i will be even more godlike after update ^^.

Blades will still own bows b/cuz of fire sheild 78% protection vs effects-
that and the bows low damage still wont scratch a blade +knockdown etc etc. But id say stuns gunna kill alot of people, just dont go silly and kill people 40 levels below u and say bows own str glavies etc etc etc.

Bladers cant kill nothing, atleast not me. I never run from a blader, infact they safe my lifes all the time. ^^.

In job wars they are silly enough to use kd, give me the time to pot up and run to safe zone. =|, and yeah i run from level 80 glaviers when they team up on me.

Besides that I find bladers annoying, the only bladers that can kill have godly gear, I am able to tank a capped blader with decent gear.

I sorta meant vs a bow XD, but i get what you mean, although if bladers spent more time on there imbunes they/we might do more lol

Damage for bow isn't shitty >.>.

And also like i have said a lot, things wont change much, it will more similar to the 70 cap except with better archers, we get the biggest advantage, and it is a Big one, the stunning and knocking back were the only thing that kept me form killing some glaivers then, with the new skills it will be more evenly matched, although I think the combo is gonna have a hell of a lot more chances for knock back :d.

But it's hard to answer "are <insert build> gonna own now", you have a pretty good chance to own any build with any other build if you got the right gear and know how to play, but with all the sosuns and bots you won't really see any dominating builds, just them.

My personal opinion though is yea bows should own, I always got good dmg on glaivers, and I could kill them if I was lucky enough to get a few hits in a row without stun, the dmg I did was good enough.

I have even killed bladers(before sosuns, and not the full sos ones though, but still my own lvl), again if i'm lucky enough to miss knoc downs, I have done pretty good as an archer without any interrupting skills, now that i'll get 2 i'm just gonna do that much better :d.

I agree jackel, nd i wasnt sayn bows do bad damage, just we get dmg increase aswell, and most bladers are immune to effects at high lvls nd also u have to be lvl 80 to use the stun.

I personally think Spear nukers will be nice if they take a detour and add 30 STR to there build, because there going to do so much damage it wont be funny.

I also think glaives will kill 70% more then they die if they eg; dont get blocks and dont have to much INT in there build

The first lvl of strong bow with stun is lvl 76.

And I meant the shitty dmg comment at JackB4u3r, he said "its the same old shitty damage' :d.

Those Bow skillz don't start acting like glavie skilz till like 70+....so from lvl 1-70 Bow is still going to be pwnd by almost all other builds...good thing they lvl fast

hopefully u speak wrong , bows get a new HAWK! < - thats gona increase damage, at least i hope. but distance and stun and knock back can annnoy the glaiver very much, if the bow is far way. with ghostwalk you can make the glaiver never come to you :

this will either make bow as strong as glaive , or stronger than glaiver were just gona have to wait and find out

I dont get it, I always, yes ALWAYS, did good in pvp. And all of the sudden you hear that bowers are teh sucky all around. I agree that there are a lot of newbs out there with a bow who just stand there and "tank".
However, there are also loads of people who know how to play and are capable of killing every build.
Glaviers havent become a problem until i got level 69 and I couldnt tell anymore what level people are, you'll be suprised how much people are lying about there level.

And for all yoo newbs, a bow is suposed to pw away. We have distance as you have kb/stun/kd.

you are an idiot so glaive is not dependant on their critical to kill?

the point is: even if a glaive can't kill full str chars, how can a bow kill them? even if the bow crits on anti devil, the damage is not significantly higher than that of a sss or ghost spear mars. and glaive have 2 stun skills, which makes u immobile. so how can a bow kill a glaive. im a lvl 80 full str glaive on troy, got pimped gears and got a balance of phys. 106% and mag. 41%. i have almost 20k hp and my buffed parry ratio is 370. the bows i've fought till now couln't do anything. 1st of all their damage is pretty low, eg anti devil 3rd book does not more than 3,5k and if the bow crits with anti devil 3rd book, it does not make more than 5k damage on me. 2nd thing is, that bow doesn't crit often enough. i fought a bow with +7 crit 10 bow and from 10 hits of anti devil, he crits maximum 4 times on me (i tested it, yes). but if he crits strong bow or that other 350% skill on me, it hurts indeed. but those 2 skills can't be cast often enough and they don't crit often enough.

for all those, who are possed by the thought, that bow's are more pwning than eg glaives, just have a look at the skills and their damages. it's obvious that there's a huge difference. and if u have another thought, it becomes pretty obvious that bow just can't do more damage than glaives (excluding crit). cuz bow got range. if they do more damage, why should we play glaive? it's the same thing about bladers. they just can't do more damage than glaives. they got better defense and the possibility to block, which nullifies ur attack. if they do more damage, then nobody would play glaive.

against a 64 SoX i think the knock back combo and a crit from the devil bow would be enough to kill anymone....thast the way it loosk in the vids at least

i think it's better to talk about the advantage of unbiased weapons/builds. with sox gears and weapons, especially sosun, every weapon becomes deadly.

ps: i also fought against full str bow with sosun bow. guess what? he couldn't kill me. why? cuz i stunned him too often. of course his damage was good. but when he got stunned, he can't do nothing and my hp recovers. so even sosun bow can't kill me, except he crits on me with strongbow and that other 350% skill several times in a row.

With the update and bow will have stun and kb, bow will be more powerfull.

The attacks wont get more powerfull, but the change that you get stunned and not be able to stun the bower are there, this making the bower get in more shots and deal you more damage.

Besides, for youre suprise, there arent that many people walking around with a +4 fully pimped set at 80. Prob the people you job with have, because they tend to stick 2gether, but there are tons of people out there who have a badly pimped set.
I do 5-6k damage on a glavier in garms my level without a crit, who is not in decent pimped gear. If I crit ones and get another attack in afterwards he is dead.

I agree with you that glavie just has more power in there attacks, i just cant stand the point that bowers are weak. I know some are, but not all. I know a level 80 bower who just cant kill me, he killed me once after 5 min of fighting. But I also know level 80 bowers who 2-3 hit me.

you're right, not all high lvl players have pimped gears. but always compare the damage/tanking ability with unbiasedness as a basis. so i just assume that ppl got pimped gears. and on this basis, i compare the advantages/disadvantages of a build/weapon.

1. Well whats your guys opinions on STR Blade Vs Bow, honestly to because stuns an effect and Blades the only class that uses fire emperor sheild effectivly (dont need switch weapons) so can quick cast right before a fight.
(INT sword and sheild also my bad)

1. Glavies will do more uber damage (think of the mastery % bonus) 80% damage is pretty.. yeah.

2. Nukers as i said before also get (+% damage..)

This is were as a blade im pissed off, there should be better sheilds. We dont exactly excel in defence but now damage builds will win vs us due to unrivaled damage.

Bows are for guild wars eg; adding the final touch to a a blade vs glavie ..thats were there range comes into play (if there are GW, havnt been in a guild before) and jobs, Bows are assasins. They arnt supposed to take damage, a bow that takes damage (maybe afew hits is ok) isnt a good bow is he? The stun is targeted at this, keep the glavie away so you CAN as people apparently say u cant. Hurt people.
