is it possible to master both cold and fire at higher lvls or just not enough sp for the master of both and the weapon's mastery. and if not, which is most usefull on monsters lvl30 to 60. fire , or cold.

Yes, you can get both, but it would take for freakin ever to SP farm.

For glaive, fire is more useful due to the buffs.
