thinking of restarting :S

Well, ive been playing silk for quite a while now, raised a full legit glavie to 71 (actual lvl ^^), but im pretty tired of this build, friends and union keep telling me to farm and farm anbd to keep going, and that ill regret making another char once ive achieved a lvl 71, but i cant find it in myself to keep lvling this glavier....

So ive thought of building u a new Char, so far its full int up to lvl 20 then from 20-30, 40-50, 60-70 all 1str 2 int , and as for the rest of the lvls 30-40, 50-60 and 70-80 go full int, btw it'd be spear.

No here comes my question, has anyone gone through this? having a high lvl just getting tired and started a new one? and if so was it worth? im a bit confused

My second question: is this new nuker build good? i want strong nuking power, but i dont want to fall at the feet of any full farmed glavier easily....


Any advice and comments are welcome expecto for flaming or the o typical: "pleezz give you account pleezz"

I have a pure str bower at 75 and I want another high level char next to it. So I am leveling a pure int S&S, but I hardly play on it.

Sounds to me like you are underfarmed on your glaiver...is that the case? Being underfarmed almost made me quit, being weaker than people your level is definetly not fun, but the amount of time it takes to level a character by hand into 8th degree is not something i would drop at the tip of a hat.

If the assumption above is correct (underfarmed), i must say, that after your weapon mastery is farmed, and your buffs are at a decent level, your character will be a beast. If this is a route you wish to take, i would level to 72, get your new weapon, drop to a 9 gap and farm for 1 month with a gt, sp ticket, or both (if possible). After that, you should be quite strong and might have a little more fun than you are now?

As i said before, i have been in this situation before. The character i am using now was my very first, but in the mid 30's i got kinda bored with it and wanted to see what else the game had to offer. So i tried a blader to 30, a glaive to 30, and a nuker to 30. This was back when i had very little information about builds so i had to try everything for myself to make a good decision. In the end, i came back to my bowman because it was the one i had the most fun with, and is what i suggest you do...find the one you enjoy the most.

Try your spear nuker, but by no means get rid of the glaiver..keep him 100% in tact for those times you want to go back. The worst move you can make would be to sell most of the stuff your glaiver has to fund your spear nuker, just to realize that the glaiver is what you like better.

About the nuker build...30 points into str along with the spear passive should give you a nice HP boost while still keeping your mag balance fairly high. It should do well.

thanks EllisD ^^ yea im very underfarmed, at lvl 70 i had 69 heuskal, 52 fire and 50 fire xD ROFL ... my first guild master told me that second masteries werent important and that i should just lvl my main tree in other words heuskal... damm you Ransun xD lol

But yea im currently using a premium and a skill gt finally got my fire to 65 and now im upping all my fire skills doing a 4 gap now.. couldnt handle the 5 gap at niyas with a crappy 68+3 glavie LOL, so im guessing that i ll go up to 72 at least ill probably have decent skills by then, im was gettin 1200+sp each day (was.. my pc borke down, laptop isnt that good)

What really keeps me going is that i have a good 72+4 crit 11 glavie and 72-77 +4 full blue garm (dropped a sun8d and sold tee hee ) so now that its summer and i have tons of time on my hands i think ill lvl the glavier in my GT time ,adn when ticket time is over go on to the nuker and invest some time on it, if things keep going as they are once i hit 77 ill rob a few trades or hunt with the union and leave my glavier aside to dedicate time on my nuker
