I was reading somewhere that pure str ice glaive is perfect for pvp.

Well personally i love pvp, and the feeling to sh*ttalk other people when i kick his butts so yeah....

so shud i get pure str ice glaive?

if so, can u tell me what skills i shud get and master?

also, if i want to be a pure int nuker, do i still have to get the bicheon and hacheon masteries? or shud i only max in fire and lightning?

also, shud i get force masteries?

you can only be one nuker or glavier ,Glaive characters use fire as main force mastery since fire is the strongest element ,not really it's up to you if you get those skills but they help a little

but i thought the ice freezing attks are good for pvp, no?

and if i become a PURE INT nuker, shud i still get the bicheon/hicheon skills?

ice is good always when the enemy doesn't have any pills for cure ,about the skills it's up to you try reading around about sp farming since almost all of the builds need sp farming

if u want the best of both worlds, u can always try a ice spear hybrid build. You get dmg from int, the spear skills if u like em so much, and average hp from the build, but its all up to you.

Eh I would disagree with this personally.

Int hybrid ice. Being hybrid lowers damage on the int user and using ice is also lower. Point of nuker is to kill on point. If they can't do this they're usually dead meat.

I would suggest if you want to do thsi to go hybrid only to 90% mag balance at lowest. ( Press c.. shows balance )

i dont like hybrid..what skills shud i choose and what shud i do if i want to go pure str/glaive or pure int?

my suggestion would be to not put too much faith in ice - dont forget that now that there is auto pot/pill ice is virtually useless. i can EASILY pill faster then you can freeze me, the comp does it for you. also dont forget that going fire has buffs and enhancements that will make you stronger forever as a str character. so IMHO dont go ice, go fire with a splash of lighting for grasswalk and light nuke. other wise put all other sp into fire.

what shud the glaive melee skills? like bicheon etc..shud i get them?

For pure builds, I highly recommend Fly's guide stickied to this forum.

Any character can be good at PvP, but if you want the PvP specialist, go pure str/fire/sword.

If you still prefer glaive (which I would probably recommend for a first character anyways, since they are a fast leveler, still the strongest damage-dealing character, and getting into the game is more important for the first character than the actual build). Than refer to Fly's guide.

you mean str/fire/blade right? anyway the bladers can't kill in pvp but either they can get killed themself

his ice is annoying -__- even WITH pills on.

Ice glaive is one of the worst builds IMO. Ice is a weak imbue, and glaive attacks too slow for it to even try to use the effects of it to any advantage.

well, if i didnt knew better, from what i read here i would think with fire i would do at least double the dmg then with ice
of course fire imbue gives more dmg, but as a full str char its not overwhelming.
im an ice glaiver with fire buffs. i like it very much. of course fire is doing more dmg and ice can be pilled away, but i still see my opponents doing 'slow-motion' combos. and i see it often
im quite sure i never lost a fight ONLY becouse my opponent was fire and im ice
but then again, im not trying to make my char the strongest on the server. im ice cos i like it. i decided so before i knew anything about ice and fire. now i find myself loving my char. fire IS stronger, i just wanted to save ice from being declared as usless

They need huge amount of damage to be able to take on nukers with ease. People say during the early stages of nukers around lvl 30 pure strength owns...but after self research in the big higher levels it all depends on how well you play.

Pure strengths tend to die extremely easy with the 6k-7k damage dealt to them by an equal level nuker.

pure int seems to die ez with 2k-3k dmg dealt to them by a equal glaiver XD

its all strategy fire is not better than ice ,ice is not better than fire

but i personally think ice is better XD but thats for me of course
