im thinking about getting all my force skill to lvl 20 and then sticking wit only ice for all the passives and buffs. is this a reasonable idea?

it's great for low levels, but you'll probably regret it later, when you'll want those extra mastery levels available for other stuff. also, it'll eat quite a bit of SP to do that too, so weigh that into consideration also.
