Im currently a ice/light bower, and use bow mainly for imbue, should i switch to the light?? I have both maxed out, and use light once and awhile. I heard that ice will do nothing in the future, thats why

I don't quite get your question.

Autumn wind is useless, you will rarely get the monsters to line up in the said position.

if you want an aoe at early lvls get autumn only lvl 1

then switch to berserker when you can get it

Use whatever imbue you want, try out and see what suits you best. Pure str builds dont really have a lot with there imbues, fire is most common used. But I am thinking bout switching to lighting, just for fun and giggles.

Autumm wind is not useless, 3de book maxed out is stronger then anti devil maxed. Only reason people use anti devil so much is because it crits more, besides that it is a weaker attack. The AoE of autumm wind is not useless either. And the animation that it has on the last book is prob the nicest there is around of the arrows. ^^

The ice immune will be fixed later. Hope fully at euro update, but probably not untill 90 update.

Ya, I just say this because im lvl 28, 6 gapping, have i think 3400 skill points, and thinking of 0 gapping in the 30's. I wont lvl up each mastery to 0 though, so im thinking of just doing my weapon. Sound like a good idea??

Im farming on penons later on anyways.

I have ice and light imbue, and frankly the increase in damage from light at this point does not seem enough to switch.

You should get both if you can, and see what you like.

For 60+ when people start to get immuen to ice, I suggest lighting. I am now leveling up my lighting imbue, there are a lot of people out there that are immuen to ice and fire, but not to lighting. Just cause almost everybody uses fire imbue. Will keep you uptodate how it is going ^^.

this is a fun build. i opted for light imbue cuz i want the splash dmg to aggro as many mobs as i could. pure str tanks good and what u want is to get as many mobs close to u as possible to reduce the amt of chasing and running (which is already lesser for archers, compared to bladers/glaivers). i'm prepared to forgo the whole fire tree to keep the build simple and not too hung up over sp requirements. and if indeed the fire shield is fixed, i'd max ice imbue. and since i dun have ice imbue, i skipped combo arrows, that use up arrows and wears out weapon faster. doing only antidevil, autumn wind and explosion arrows. 3 skills. and of course all the passives/buffs, except black hawk.

autumn wind is really great if u know how to use it. easiest to use when training on aggro mobs.

oh ... and since i m not doing fire, i may need to change to some hybrid. who knows ... but pure str for now.

Youre not taking the arrow combo? Feck I couldnt grind with it, I devil arrow + combo white mobs. Fastest way of grinding + leveling

so if I'm pure str ice imbue / light buffs I'm kinda stuffed? I'm only lvl 6, so I can restart if required

so pure str fire / light? or how about pure int?
