Starting with a Pure STR Bowman... Garment or Armor?

Could any1 tell me what would be the best protection to get for a Pure STR Bowman? Armor or Garment? Thanks...

pure str already has good physical defence and garment gives a 20% mp reduce for skills and 20% walk speed bonus plus magic defence which pure str lacks so....

So Garment + Pure Str = Perfection? What element should I get? Cold, Fire or Cold? Should I add any of Force? Thanks for the info...

Yes, go with garment. Fire only for str characters! You could try another as secondary. I went str/bow/fire and force for secondary, but the only skill I use in force is ressurection. Also, do not bother with the fire nuke, nor the fire shield. The nuke will not do as much damage being low int, and the fire shield only works if you are carrying a shield.

I tend to use Armor in earlier levels since you could save more pots. The -20% MP consumption isn't that significant with your imbue in early levels (unless you keep your masteries-imbue on par with your level) I switch to garment when I hit 5th degree where I need the MP saving.

Skill you should get in fire mastery... Everything but Fire wall and the nuke series.

(You can use fire shield without holding the shield all the time. Wear it.. buff then take it off.)
