I just looked to see that now my char will be "chinese" but there are other races.
I know NOTHING about euro, can someone give me a basic overview?
And the skills update, does that include the mana shield? If so i can start deleveling fire.
My char is lvl 48 now, about to SP farm at 52. Should i go ahead and do that?
Or should i just wait for euro?
Im really confused as to what to do, please can you guys help me!

Don't listen to this guy, he has no idea what he's talking about.
iSRO is going to get euro, and euro is not different than isro. They are in the same package, europe is going to be west of china, and european and chinese characters will play together and fight together and everything.
I was also wondering if mana shield would come out, and if you check on the site, it says "new skills" and it shows them using some, and you can see the mana shield on one guy, so yes, I'd start deleveling fire now.
If you want to continue your chinese guy (not saying it's bad, but some people will restart for euro) then yeah, you can start sp farming now.
Just play as you would normally, although you won't have fire anymore, and you'll now have ice (assuming you used to not have it).

Well i think i will just do enough to get my guy to level 52 fully farmed, then i can use the chinese to powerlevel the euro char.
If thats possible?

in parties you can plevel and levelup quick.
the different here is that euro is party based. in china, party is not always
that effective cause you dont get that much xp from mobs.
in euro, there are "party mobs", which you can recognise by the blue icon
in front of their name. these mobs have higher hp, higher damage and give
more xp. the whole party gets xp AND sp

COOL!
I just saw a thread in which a guy was showing off how his wizard was lvl 70 in just 15 days after being powerlevelled.
Since i'll only be lvl 60 when euro comes out, i can be level 60 or so in a few weeks

powerleveling can be fun to start off with, but it gives you a better feeling
when you are actually helping out others in a team. i am a cleric, so i need
to heal and buff people all the time which i find very satisfying.
but know that euro chars are party based, so you dont need to sp farm.
everybody has his specialty and can take 2 trees max. the mastery point
system is differentl; you get 2 mastery points each level. these masteries
also decide what items you can wear; not your level.
every mastery has his own weapon. if you buff with a cleric and switch to
warlock rod to do status effect damage, your cleric buffs are gone.

I know euro skills, I don't know your question though.
Yes, euro characters can use wolfs, only if they are the same or higher level than it though.
lv 1 mob in euro area = mang.

What does the mana shield skill do?
Posted: Tue Jun 19, 2007 8:04 am
by CobbZ
oh my god.. Read up pal.
The mana shield takes a certain % of damage taken and it takes it out of MP instead of HP.

mana shield will be almost the ultimate buff to nukers, making them able to tank
