Ok, alot of people have been saying that a pure INT bow build is rubbish so I was thinking of starting a new character that is pure INT spear. Should I do this or not? plz help.

My pure INT archer is lvl 18.

pure int spear or sword/shield are both good

pure int archer is fine -__-, just more PvE based i suppose

Reasons to NOT go INT Bow:

Bow has lower damage than Sword and Spear
Bow doesnt give you HP bonus like Spear, or Blocking bonus from Sword/Shield.
Bow skills are STR based

Well those are reasons why people dont go INT Bow; because you dont have the power of a spear or the power/defense of a sword/shield. And once you hit level 30, you'll be using nukes as your ranged skill anyway, so really no point to use a bow past level 30. But since you're only level 18, you dont really have to start a new char. Just keep this guy, stop learning bow stuff, and level up to 30 with a bow then switch to spear or sword/shield.

I had a pure int ice bow and the reason i stopped and started by new character was exactly because of those reasons. and you can restart if you want, i had the bow at 24 and its not too bad getting all the way back to the 20's if you choose a better character.
EDIT: my brother is starting a firebow str bow so well see how that goes. Should be MUCH better than my ice int bow..
