So, I was looking over some of these skills and I saw that Heal Series heals the "target's" HP. My question is.. does that also mean yourself? Can you use this instead of the Self heal series?

from what i know, you can actualyl target yourself? click on the top left corner of your active moving pic ( your face ) and you'll have the usual details of the targeted player ( i.e, theif lvl hutner lvl and trader lvl as well as name ) = you, now press the healing thingy, and you should heal yourself, i never tried cos i never got the skill but you sure can

yes, you can target yourself, just click on your pic in the corner. it basically makes self-heal a huge waste of SP.

You are my hero Geobot, thank you. I was waiting to see if I needed to put SP in both these skills.

Sorry to add, but with self heal, I'd only need to hit whatever hotkey it's on to activate the skill.. whereas Heal series, I'd need to target myself first correct?

yes, you need to select yourself first to use it, whereas with selfheal it's not needed. self-heal also takes slightly less time to use.

however, if you look at the numbers, you'll see what i mean.

level 1 of the Heal series gives you 369 HP for a cost of 74 MP
level 9 of the self-heal gives you only 286 HP for 52 MP cost.

so, you'd have to spend WAY more SP in self-heal to get it even close to useful once you're past level 5-10. after that, it just doesn't heal for a big enough chunk of HP.

zz, self force heal book2 lvl 1 heals 354hp with 64mp consume, and it's hella good when u doin long quests with low dmg mobs, and need fast recharge of hp not looking where to press yourself(like heal medical hand)
just heal-kill-kill----heal-kill...
I find it usefull, zzzz...but on the other hand, me->healer, not for healers dunno if its worth spending so lot sp for it:)
