som equals approx. 10 levels higher than item level
sosun equals approx. 15 levels higher than item level

I thought it was like this

sos = +5
som= +7
Sosun= +9

but ive been wrong befor ^^

I mean i think sos som and sosun are +5 +7 +9 better than standard weapon the same lvl.

Same as what cin said, but with different figures. eg: i dont think sosun is 15 times better i think its 9 times better.

example lv 32 sox bow
lv 32+5=37 (sos)
lv 32+10=42 (som)
lv 32+15=47 (sun)

so a lvl 52 normal item with 250 phy damge
that means lvl 52 sosun would have 2250 damge? :banghead:

that twise as much damge as a 72 +9 :banghead:

haha no its not calculated like that. A +2 weapon isnt twice as good neither. I dont think anybody knows the formula or plusses and Sos's

Bleh its just misinterpretation of words.

I mean sosun = equivelant of a +9 weapon same lvl non sosun.

Thats what i have always read or been told.

I dont think so. I will get some stats when i get home but according to that...

72 weapon, clean = 72
sun 64 = @+9 lvls = 73, @+15 lvls = 79

I would say the stats of a sun are quite a bit more comparable to a "lvl 79" weapon than a "lvl 73" where it would almost be equal to a 72.

A clean sun would be about the same as a 72+7, cause my GM's +5 sun bow is still quite a bit better than my 72+7 bow.
