imbue and buff

Im new, can anyone e explain me what does imbue and buff means?

Imbue is the skill that you use that stays on for awhile, the first elemental skill you can use is an imbue

buffs are the skills that give you certain bonuses while you are using them, can't think of any names offhand though

buff is a spell or somthing that increases one stat or another on your character, such as must pierce force adds a 3-4% increase of magical damage for a certain amount of time.

an imbue is the lvl 5 spell that you use to add elemental damage to your weapon for 5 seconds.. as you lvl up through the books it adds more damage and lasts longer (and costs more mana)
