I'm level 27 now pure int spear
heuskal 21
ice 21
fire 21
thunder 21
bicheon 11
The thing is
Should i continue pure int spear Or should i switch to s/s ?
There is no way i'll go hybrid
I just want to know how much is that dmg deference in nukes between spear & sword at different levels ?
should i throw away the beautiful blocks for extra hp & extra DMG ?

Why not be both. Instead of wasting time and money de-leveling one of the two why not keep both and use both. ie. S/S when you are low on HP. Plus the nice HP boost from heuksal and the better blocking from bicheon.

It's basically a matter of preference. Pure Int Spear and Pure Int S/S have advantages and disadvantages. But most people would agree that S/S is the best for PVPs and Job/Guild Wars.
I switched to S/S once I reached 42. XD

you know what this may not be a bad idea after all
i think i'll leave heuskal at 30 (only hp passive) de level other skills

damage difference... um... s/s is ~60% of spear dmg i wanna say (nukes), assuming they're both npc weps
as for hp, u lose spear passive (roughly 1k hp) but gain a shield that you can alchemy, gaining roughly 2k hit pts

WHAAAAAAT
u mean for same npc sutff my nuke dmg will be
600 using s/s
1k using spear
?????
a 40% is a lot of difference special at high levels
correct me if i'am wrong please

lets look at this another way, a shield block=-100% dmg
correct me if im wrong, but i think 100% dif is > 40% dif?
spear pve, s/s pvp for pure ints

Do what embodiment does
80 spear 80 sword 80 fire 60 light
*I don't count on the 90 being released anytime soon*

I think 80 fire, 80 light, 70 sword, 70 spear is better.
I'm not sure why Embodiment does what he does...
Dual wep is pretty fun, but if you play it hardcore, then there's not as much of a point. I mean, Embodiment uses spear purely for ghost spear (and passive, and I assume he uses fan spear).
Also, spear is only about 1.18 times stronger than sword when nuking.
I'd switch to sword buddy. The leaving heuksal at 30 for passive is a good idea as well.

If i want a pure str char :p
btw i have a level 57 pure str glavie (retired)
deleveing skills won't take that much

I think shadow is exaggerating on the damage difference between sword and spear, but I wouldn't trust myself really since I haven't tried both on the same character.
You can just find out for yourself when you get your nukes i guess.
Don't forget that it isn't a 1k hp difference it is less since you can put str on your shield.
