I'm currently a pure str bow and i use armour. Is that the right clothes i should be wearing or should i try garment or something? Please help, i think i'm hitting too low. What should i wear to hit the absolute highest?

I used garments when I had my pure str bowman.

The clothes makes the defense, not the damage you can do...although you do more damage with better equipement I don't believe the damage you do depends on which KIND of equipement.

(or at least I believe)...

And oh yeah, I can't give you a good advice, cause I just love garment, no matter which build Although it isn't the best for every build. As a pure str archer I think it doesn't makes a lot of difference, or at least not nearly as much as with other builds. Just a personal preference...

I take it armour is best for PVE? At least most PVE's do PHY dam. anyway.

A pure STR character wuld need Garment for the additional MP u get.
BTW the damage does not depend on wat ur wearin, but wat skills u have and basically ur WEAPON.
If u hav nice blues and stats on weapon, u can do more damage.

As a pure STR bow go garment..... good for PVP and PVE.

clothes dont affect dmg, most likey ur bow

The only way clothes can affect your dmg is with blues of INT or STR, and i think Attack Rating too but i'm not sure if that blue is only for weapon...

Anyway, for better dmg, get a better bow or enhace your current one.

INTs wear armor/protector in PVPs
garms/protector while grinding

STRs wear garms in PVP
protector/armor, basically STRs can wear whatever

HYBs grind/PVP protector
