Starting a new character help?

ok this is my 4th character now hehe and im not sure how to go with this one, i think i am going to go with fire for glaive or sword? and i sort of want to go with bow is fire any good with bow? or am i better off going with ice for bow? which way do u think i should go?

since you have indicated that you like fire, for now just go with fire. You don't have to add any weapon skills to be effective. I currently have a level 20 skill point farmer with only fire imbue and grasswalk. I haven't put anythign into weapons because I haven't decided which one I like. Currently she is using a spear and kicks major ass.

The only thing I did decide is that she will be 100% intel. I have 4 level 19 or 20 characters that I don't use (my do overs), my main and this new one. don't feel bad about screwing things up we all do it.

a pure str/hybrid build with fire is good with blade bow or glaive

depending on weapon you use if you use glaive don't get phoenix fire shield or fire tower

bow don't get same things and glaive

blade don't get fire tower

actually when u go glaive i think u can use the phoenix shield w/o really useing a shield. well i use a blad en shield in i use the hawk for the +9 atk rating because i lvled the bow up to power lvl myself in earlier lvls. To use the hawk all u need to do is put a bow on summon the hawk, than switch bak to any weapon u use and the buff will still be there so for all u other ppl that want to use phoenix shield jus put a shield on use the buff than put ur regular wpn bak on n im pretty sure the buff will stay on

My reccomendation after palying the game for a while and seeing most build would be full str/sword shield and fire. These things make hella tanks and have really sweet looking moves.
There a bit slower to lvl for sure but they turn out amazing.
But no matter what you pick stick to one weapon tree and minimum element trees.
Lots of useful skills under the fire tree for swords, grass walk would be only helpful one from lightning. Cold the jump frezee, I find helpful. And no need for the force as far as i can see.
