Ive recently been hacked, and lost everything, therefore ive had to start again. My last char got up to lvl 54 (took me 6 months -.-'), and i was a Nuker, but im ready for a change, and need to lvl up FAST. I was just wondering, which build do you think is best, Bow, or Nuker?

Nuker will lvl up faster.
But bow is deffinetly the "in" build at the moment

If you go bow go pure str ^^ (just my suggestion)

Awww....i wanna use Bow But theres very few Bow builds out there. Does this mean its not a good build?

Bow is fun ^_^ Just pick one and roll with it.
And hope like hell that the new skills come sometime in our lifetime so bow gets a little edge

PFFF People don't choose bow because they:
1. Don't like bows
Or
2. They like higher damage builds

People don't use bow because the bow has no HIGH advantage...

Sword and blade users also have shield, therefore they have chances to block incoming strikes + they have stab and smash, which is very handy.

Spear and glavie users have the strongest attack power ingame + they can stun people + they use HP passive for increased HP.

Bow has none of that, you dont have the strong attack of the spear/glavie nor the protection from the blade/sword - shield.

But I do use bow, not because its the best, just because I like it.
Choosing what you like is really the best option, if you choose a build just because others tell you to, the fun of the game will go away faster.

Actually don't bows have the strongest atk?(Devil Arrow/strong bow, glaives just have more atk on the weapon), glaives aren't superior, they just have an advantage over bows with knock back and stun which wont last forever considering bows will get both with the new skills ;p.

If glaives never stunned me or knocked me back ever other hit, I would of killed most glaivers I ever fought, get a hit, get a crit, get stunned, they pot~ annoying, especially when they run their mouth lol.

Yep thats true, bows have the strongest attack...
Unfortunately its also the most slow attack, in PVP people have plenty of time to pot while you are shooting

Good choice, bow is fast and if you are in an area crowded with mobs you don't have to walk.... take a silk pet with that in combination and you'll be very fast

Fire or ice embro?

Fire gets my vote (mainly because u get the phy % upgrade buff and passive with the fire tree)

If you want to farm insane SP you can get cold... Otherwise just get fire, it's much easier. =/

Everyone seems to say bow is slow, but I don't really think its slow at all except strong bow o.o, but the casting time doesn't matter for that, its only slow shooting, as a first atk you still have good atk spd right after it with the other skills you use +the dmg of it. Strong bow then devil arrow alone is pretty devastating, even without crits.

+1 with a nice bow thats all you (strongbow then devil arrow) to take out orange/white mobs.

I think bow is really good why... 'cuase itt was the first weapon i ever used in Silkroad!!!

hey, i have a question, id like bow's pros to give me ur opinion about em.

I've tryed every single mastery with my 80mag bal hybrid int, and i changed to sword but wanted to change to spear...and thenn i thought, hey, what about bow??Second thought i had was int bow? Rofl..forget that stupid idea, but then i thought this game is all about having fun, i can still make this a 80:80 build when i get to 80-90 and ill be able to get the mana shield wich will be useful since ill still have a lot of mp, my crits will be almost the same as pure str and average dmg a lot better, and i always
loved bow, so hers my chance .

I got lvl 31 bow skills and i am lvl 65, my gear aint that good, and i 1 shot
lvl 56 with a +3WHITE crit 7 bow(i one hit em without crit)

I do 12k without crit with strong arrow on a earth ghost, my nuke with spear on is 16k...I kill lvl 63 mobs with three-4 bow skills . I have a 5 gap with my fire.

So, im preddictiing the come out of this build will be rlly good, when we get stun and knock back..uauauiaua....

I know that i will most likely hear all the jazz everyone thinks and says about int bows..but when i get the right balance and higher pacheon skills, as well as more hp...and the new skills...

there are very few builds for every weapon... some with only one

bows are better for damage id say becuase if your attacking a meelee opponent just use the higher levels of autumn flame shot first then bring on the arrow combos with a fire force spell, most people are dead before they touch you if you hit them with cold wave arrest when there getting closer

& autumn wind is useless, anti-devil is better

i have a hybrid int bow pure 2 int 1 str..i duno if its a good build but i dont have any problems in leveling..

in the other hand..in pvp's i can kill a spear nuker..sword nuker takes longer to kill..oh well..im not really aiming to be no.1 in pvp ^^ im just gona be back up

i'm gonna try the 80:80 bow build too, but i aint gonna use it for leveling, i''m going to try to use it in pvp too!!! (read what im saying: try)

at least i would be able to take out spear users?

and if it doesn't work, well ok, i can live with it then, i will be a nice allrounder...............................

(but atleast at the 90 cap it's going to be very lethal with cold and ligtning imo (both imbues)

bows got the range...but no defense..sad i agree with doc MOS..bows can kill spears.

I advise everyone to try the 80:80.
It's not the best, but it excels at PvE and unique hunting. Very fun, but somewhat lacking in PvP.

80:80 is like balanced am i right? equal str nd int?

The 80:80 bow build rules anyway. With Strong bow you can kill a full int nuker ranging from 3 lv's above or below you with 1 shot.
And the bow build is gonna be THE pwnage build at the ''90'' Cap!
