Which is best (and I would like some opions and proof please) for bowman. Best meaning does most damage, good at PvE and ok at PvP
Is full str that best
full int
or hybrid 1:1 (or another hybrid but I think 1:1 is the best)
Oh yeah I am using fire(imbue and buffs)/light(buffs of course) and I was thinking of getting ice imbue too (for freezing muwahhaaha)

Ok, i gonna try to give you a good answer, but I'm not sure of all the thing i gonna say.
I think, Full STR is the best build far archers. Why?
1) Archers got a lower defense than Heuskal and Bicheon. With full STR, you got enough HP to defend you.
2) I you want to make a Full INt Character, take a spear or sword. No bow, because Archers got not many defense, and Nukers don't have much HP.
3) If you make it Hybrid, i think you lose against Full STR archers. If you got enough MP pots as a Full Str archer, there is no problem. The only better thing for hybrids is more MP, but with enough pots, you don't need that.
I hope you get what i'm saying. (Sorry for my bad English, I'm only 13, but i hope you understood it ^^)
Ow yeah, almost forgot. Don't use 3 imbues. Take max 2, or you need to form very much, and i think you realy don't need 3 imbues for a bowman ^^.

You miss out on the insane Crit hits you get with Hybrids tho with Str, I out crit my mates 5-6 levels up on me, altho it helps with my bow

The only 2 archers that are multiple times proven very good are pure str and hybrid str (much more str than int --> 5:1 or so). There are some exceptions, but most of the guys take pure str...
Lol, just for fun I take the 70/70, but I doubt if it will one of the best builds...

All the different bow builds have there advantages and disadvantages.
Pure str kills pure int characters
70:70 is a unique hunter, that can suposidly kill pure str bowers.
blah blah blah blah....................\
No one build is the best at everything.

I have a str hybrid. (Mainly str) She pwn's pretty much any int or int hybrid close to her level. However, it lacks on the other str characters unless they are also archers. Glavie has a ton of hp and bladers just bug ya. Basically bowers can take out int's quite easily. So, I would recommend a 70:70, it will take out int's and you will grind faster.

STR always INT only uses it till 20 then goes to S/S or Spear

full str lots of hp, kill mobs alot higher lvl.
full int, can kill mobs faster but u cant handle as many or kill high lv mobs.

well here the best bow build
1. the best is pure str
2. second best hybrid 70/70 <- with enought blues u can make it 80/80
hybrid str , int hybrid , pure int < - are the worst bow build dont even make them.

not ..... true, you guys have to start learning that this game isnt about pvp 1vs1, its about group pvp's, grinding faster, and kill uniques, and int hybrid bow just fits so good on those situations.
You guys only talk like , ZOMG YOU GOTTA PWN 1VS1, when that isnt even the thing that proposes more fun to you in this friking game...you guys need to learn a lot..what this game is about.

I think str is best, although I haven't played the others I have killed them plenty~
like you could see from liquidsmooth though, their dmg is higher they got decent phys balance, then all that extra dmg from the mag balance, but thier crits don't hit harder(having higher dmg doesn't mean they do >_>).
Example, str does say 3,000 anti devil, with a crit you can get 6,000
Hybrid does say 4k with a crit maybe 7k, it's more dmg then a str's but less hitting crits. With the higher dmg though comes less phys def and hp = str's crit hurt :d, so it's all balanced.
The game isn't only about group pvp, grinding, and uniques either, 1on1 is a big part to some, but ya can't really say one build is better then the other, it depends on the player, and the gear just as much.

+1 I liked the pure STR as an allround great build, but the 70:70 is awsome for unique hunting/wars.

there you go, and guild wars and hunting uniques as well as job wars are the ways you can have true fun at this game...at least thats me..
