I started sikroad a few weeks ago. I was lvl 22 until someone talk me about SO farming so i started a new char. The person who explained told me to put all tha STAT points into str cause i use blade and fire. But i also like Bow and lightning im lvl 14 now, i think im still on time So the question is : what should i do if i want to use both of them, i mean i love blade but bow is kinda usefull in some cases??

USE ONE AND ONLY ONE WEAPON MASTERY. just stick to one weapon. heres the major builds that people like.

Pure STR/fire/glave
Pure STR/fire/blade
Pure INT/sword/lightning/fire/ice
Pure INT/spear/lightning/fire
Pure Int or Pure Str/ice

Pure str/glaive/fire/lightning/little force (lvl 20 passive and res)
Pure int nuker/swordshield/lightning/fire little force (lvl 20 passive and res)
Pure str/bow/fire
Hybrid 2:1/bow/cold
str: int

At an early level ti may seem like you can keep all Blade, Bow, Lightning, Fire up to date. But as you gain levels you will relize it is wayyyy to difficult to maintain four skills. Eventually you will fall behind and be weak for your level.

From experience I would very highly reccommend, ONE weapon, ONE force. In the end it will pay off alot. I still wish I had never put points into Force and Bow because I now lack the skill points to have my fire and my glavie and full strenght because of lack of skill points. I am now consistently farming rather than leveling and doing the curst heart quest and paying tonnes of cash to fix my mistakes.

So from experience I would recommend Fire blade Str, Ive seen the end result of this build and it kick ass.

well thx for the build ideas and there effects but im sticking with my bow/blader-(fire/light)-its working pefectly for me and i have well over 203sp for my skills-and im considering force but every builds different you know?thats what makes everyone"s character kool,if everyone was the same whats the point of the game?!coemon-i dun care what anyone says this build works for me and im sticking to it!l8er

203SP is absolutely nothing by the time you hit lvl25ish.

meh i think 2 weap trees would be fine if you had 1 force.

you just have to sp farm

its the same as 1 weap and 2 force, just you have to carry extra weapons around.

but shrug

you could also jsut pick 1, and carry another weap around, just imbue and fire away.. you wont have skills though

having 2 wpn masteries wud be nice, if u do i think (never tried at high lvls) the bow wud be a good second mastery wpn because of its nice buffs,
yeah yeah i kno u all of u guys will be like whats the use when u need to use the wpn for buffs, well guess what im a ice blader n i lvled my bow to lvl 14 to powere lvl myself in the beggining and now that i use sword, i like the +9 atk rating the white hawk gives, now ill tell u how to use the bow buffs while using a diff. wpn (i was not going to tell any1 this but ill be nice) get a lvl 1 bow or any lvl bow and turn the hawk buff on n jus switch back to ur sword and u can use the sword buffs as well and the hawk will still stay there with th ebuff, n ppl r liek wtf a blader with a white hawk on top, UR SOOO COOl lol yep yep.

The hawk passive isn't a new trick or anything. Glavies use the same trick for the fire shield buff.

you know. you should try it out. be the first.

that would be awesome. cause if you were like legolas! have a sword and a bow. iono maybe it'll work. you'll be good at both things.

theres nothing wrong with a 2 weap build, you just have to SP farm like mad.
as long as your stat points are fine it'll be fine.

203 sp is nothing, all the above people who tells you keeping two weapons mastery/skill is ok as long as you farm, what they are saying is right only to keep it and use it, but let me tell you what 's the meaning deep within, Let me ask you first, how fast can you switch weapons even if you had each ' sword ' ' shield ' ' Bow ' put in 3 of your 11 default hot keys? switching from a bow to sword/shield would take you forever, even if you intend to use it just for training, cap it at lvl 20 ( one of it ) not that i have any idea why, this is just written under FLY's hmm guide, something i'm trying to figure out why would you use a spear and a sword/shield just cos you want to train, anyway you can do that, but from your words you sound very devoted to your hmm bow sword/shield built, this is really impossible, let me ask you:
What are you trianing on now?

Can these monsters you training on ' fight back '

How long does it take for you to take down a monster?

How often do you ' switch between the two ( three ) equipments '?

Do you even use both of them seriously for training

Are you using one of the two weapons just for ' omg look at me i'm so cool i have TWO weapons to use, ' starts proudly spaming bow and sword skills '?

lastly, is this your first MMORPG?

after answering all those, i truly hope you change your mind and go one weapon and 4 element ( not recommanded, but better then taking up 2-3 weapons ) because let me tell you, element and weapon is different - element, you can cast EVERY elemental skill, attack, buff, show offs what ever, with any type of equipment in your hands, where as weapon, you HAVE to have that specific weapon in your hand in order to USE those skills ( duh ! ), please re-think, and listen to no one but me =) ( or anyone who oppose the idea of going more then one weapon ) cheers, sorri for all the jokes, i promise i had no intention to offend you in anyway, but it was just too funny " laughs one last time " * winks *

my post wasnt off topic... in the beggining he said he wanted to use a blade n a bow im jus telling him a trick that i figured out today that could help him because he said he wud like to use a blade n a bow. And so what if i jus figured it out today n neways i dont ever see ne1 use taht trick ever.

I would be lucky to get 1 mastery or 1 skill with that. I tried to lvl 2 wpns, now im paying millions to delevel it because be skills and masterys are too far behind and im not up to my potential that I could be. I now need to farm or gain around 5000 sp to catch up for my mistake of trying to go with two weapon lvls.

I thought it was great at lvl 25 ish then sround 40 I relized how bad of a choice it really was.

I've now done serious replaning and decided which weapon too keep which buffs and skills are worth it etc. I decided to pump my fire glavie and str for max dmg. 1 cold skill for support and grass walk because the faster you get from point A to B the faster you can lvl.

Do two weapon trees if you want but I Gurantee that it will NOT benefit in the end.

For what it's worth, I highly recommend one weapon, and one force for your first build. It is easier, and gives you a better chance to familiarize yourself with the game mechanics. After you have this character up at a reasonably high level, if you would still like to build a 2x weapon character, then go ahead.

I have done just that, and am *slowly* building a pure str/ fire/ bow/blader. I have bought 2x SOS weapons for this character, with cash from my first character. You can SP farm very rapidly with a bow, so stick with that till you get the SP you need. You can always revert back to your first high level character when you get bored SP farming, and have some real fun.

You will need tons of SP for 2 weapons. I am thinking I may need as much as 50,000 or 60,000 for my build. I SP farmed like 5000 SP for my first character and thought I would lose my mind if I went any further.

Build your first character first (I recommend Fly's pure builds stickied on this forum). Then decide if you like the game enough to build a second character.

If you try to SP farm like mad on your first character, you are going to lose interest in this game and miss out on its benefits. It helps tremendously to know what you are working for when you SP farm, and you won't know till you have been there.

this game is not about the build is about the level
a level 32 can kill like 10 level 28 and less at the same time

I am a lvl 18 lighting archer and have bow mastery lvl 15 lighting lvl 15 and force 17 and i am gonna stop using SP for a while but for a while my skills were at lvl 10 and I gained a lot of SP you should try not using them for a while
