is castle shield a must for a blader, it looks so stupid

It gives you uber defence for 15 seconds...whats not to love?

EDIT: Wait, is that the middle skill? The one that increases Block Ratio by a %? If it is, then yea, useless. But the 1st and 3rd books are great.

While its great for pure ints, cause it lets them tank like a pure str, that would make a pure str absolutely unbeatable for those 15 seconds....so why not?

its very usefull - lots of def for 15 seconds -> possibly this could save your life sometimes

It's needed.

At least get lv 1 of it, it's like 9 sp, and your def goes up by like 50 or whatever... When maxed out it's like 700 extra defence

its a must, the middle is a waste of an attck, skip it

well for pure str it ain't really a must. But first and third book are great against pure str and second book is great against nukers.

Exactly, I just don't see why someone with 20K hp needs to take lower damage, but if you wanna waste sp on it be my guest.

Helps when you only have 5k hp and the other one has 10k hp + gives u a chance to run yah ass off

When you are tanking 2-3 people, and need to get away, its a good idea.
I'm a blader, and I have lvl 5 of the third book.

puts a blader into his "invincible stage".... well almost

Useful, both for bladers and especially for bicheon nukers.

the first book helps me alot, when I try killing some earth ghost at lvl 25 I can only handle 1 or 2 at max, when a 3rd one comes in, I use the first book and it saves me really good!

IDK about the second or third, never used it, cause im too low lvl

why doesnt people like second book?

first lvl on second book is 10% already... already means 10% increase survival o.0

unlike first and third, it helps vs nukes, and a block stops a stun or kb or kd +def doesnt ^^

Just some thoughts, I never leveled my bicheon high to save me sp, so I'm only speculating.

The +def tho I hear works nicely on my guildmate's heavy int swordsman

yeah it's a big increase but still somehow you don't really see a diffrence. I got it lvl 1 but i don't notice more blocks like it's supose to do. While book 1 and 3 show that the dmg is really lower when you have it up.

if you have extra sp get it if you dont you can easily go without it (after all it only last 15 seconds)

Yea. The reason that i wouldnt get book 2 is because a percentage increase on a completely random occurance (block, ive seen people with BR12 shields block just as much as a shield with BR20, its all in the luck of the draw) i dont see as much of a benefit from as an absolute increase (in physical defence) that book 1 and 3 give.

I've survied fights with higher lvl glaiver only because of it ^^
