First when u guys start out kill do quests and lvl until lvl 11 and dont upgrade any skills OK. But iss u wanna upgrade ur str and int stats go ahead i dont care about thay, it's ur choice

Second if ur lvl 11 lvl 1 mastery tree for ur wepon of ur choice and 1 mastery tree for force of ur choice, Get each to lvl 5 .

now at this lvl u will have ur first wepon skill and 1st force skill
If u know gaps and how they work ur good, if u dont its not hard go check it out, there is like milllions of threads out there on gaps...

At lvl 11 u should up grade ur first force which is imbue and first wep skill
at lvl 12 u should lvl it up to 6 for each mastery tree (this keeps a 6 lvl gap beweeen ur masteries and ur current lvl).

keep a 6lvl gap until lvl 28.
At lvl 28 ur masteries should each be at lvl 22.

Now dont lvl ur masteries until u reach lvl 31 and make then lvl 23 each because here, ur tryin to make an 8 lvl difference, dont ask y ive played this game alot and i know y.

So at lvl 32 ur masteries should be at lvl 24 each so ur keeping an 8 lvl difference)

Keep and 8 lvl difference until ur like lvl 36/37 and by then u should have 17-20k SP which will let u avoid the job of SP farming which is not fun and very repetetive. Im not discouraging SP farmers but its just my opinion ok guys.

So if ur at lvl 37 ur SP should be 17-20k
This will be good enough to last quite a bit of lvl and enables u to make a second mastery tree from force how ever not wepon but force.

the time u shoulf start doing this pattern is when ur SP gets to 1k/1000
U should do the 8 lvl gap part.

Now the reson this is good is because ur SP if u spend wisley is becuase when ur at lvl 52, no matter wut class ull have a good damage out put and with an 8 lvl gap, should be no problem "farming" my way (the lvl 8 way)

For those of u who dont agree with some of the things mentioned here pls post comments/compliments on things i could change as i will be online to chek it out oftenly and ill edit it.

Thx guys
I feel proud to help ppl out, especially noobs
I remeber Iwas a noob once
and it was a long story.......

Newdies? Lol, where are those naked people?

Also, you say sp farming is repetetive, but this is even more tedious.

You level up extremely slow due to the gap and you don't have a great weapon to compensate.
Plus, at later levels the balance is swayed more towards xp than sp, thus farming at 16 is best.

ohh, ok :D
coz my thinking is like this:

lvl 1-5 (5 gap)
lvl 6-15 (5 masteries, openning gap to 9)
lvl 16 - 18 (9 gap, farm at bandit den)
lvl 19 - 24 (7 gap, open to 9 gap)
lvl 25 - 26 (9 gap, farm at horses/hungyo ghost)
lvl 27 - 33 (0 gap, to get nukes)
lvl 34 - 42 (open gap, 9 to farm again)

:D

That's the point of sp farming, to farm as much sp as fast and as efficiently as you can, so a bigger gap will be better. You think a 9 level gap is insane, try a 10 or 11 level gap from mastery 7 to level 17 or 18, now that's insane. You get around 0.01%-0.02% EXP per kill. :D

who cares if your algerian?

10-11 gap is the same as 9 gap. They both have the same sp/exp rate. The reason you sp farm is because, your obviously trying to get a shitload of sp without leveling up so that you can maintain your 9 level gap. If you level up, you can;t get the same decent sp rate from the bandit archers. It'll be just lower. Tha'ts why you see sp farmers running out of east gate dongwhang and purposely killing themselvs so they can delvl back to 16.

sorry to say ... i b honest here .. this is not gonna help newbies well. it may have worked for u. but i dun think it is suitable for the mass.

for many, 1-5 should be 0gap if u have regular lvl 1 weapon. this is to get the 1st lvl skill or imbue. after that, you can gap as much patience u can get with killing lower level mobs. but it is not going to be efficient since the sp/exp gains at lower levels are not going to be good.

for newbies, especially 1st time sro players, they should keep to 1-3 gaps and watch themselves level up, sticking to 2-3 skill trees. once they hit abt level 20 or so, they can better decide what they actually want in their characters. otherwise, continue leveling at the pace they are ok with. the problem with many players getting tired of the grinding is they get too affected by talks of making uber owning builds that requires a lot of sp. for me, if i could turn back the clock on my current character, i would not farm so much, but rather focus in leveling to the caps then think abt farming.

go on a 2-3 lvl gap with gt and you'll level fast and have sp for one major skill tree (weapon for str, force for int) and one minor skill tree (force for str, weapon for int) with the minor skill tree about 10 levels behind you. or stick an sp gold ticket on top of that and 0-gapping all the way to 64 should be plausable.

farm only if you want and extra skill tree.
