Currently im a pure int at level 13 (i only recently started, but i read up on things for weeks before i actually start playing lol) and am liking the damage, but i keep dying all the time, im using a spear at the moment. Should i hybridize? if i should what should to INT:STR ratio be and could someone point me in the direction of a build.

Yeah you should i think but if you dont want just change to sword and shield. If you have 68 str and 92 str when you are lvl25 then you will be a 2-1 int hybrid (2 int, 1 str every lvl).

No, if it is youre first character. Play around with it a bit and level it up. Pure are the easiest builds, while hybrids ask some more training. So I would say get to know the game a bit and then hybrize or start a new hybrid. Otherwise you might regret it later on.

i suggest u use bow in the meantime. that way, you can hit the mob before it actually hits u. and avoid aggro mobs when u have less then 500 hp, esp the giants unless u have zerk (kill the other mobs who aggro when fighting a giant, giant and non giants have same dmg, giant just have large hp)

also, use armor.

stay pure until you are really sure how to cope with a heavy int or something. they are quite hard to manage.

NO, dont want hybrid to end up like pure str glaive

just wondering you are wearing armor and setting hp pots to like 70%+

when you get your first nukes you should be fine.

if u want yr character to live long from quitting or start new character go PURE.
cuz if u go HYB, u not gonna go that far.

i suggest stay pure until you get your nukes~
if you still dont like ur survivability try on s/s~
if you still dont like ur survivability and still willing to give up nuke damage then consider going hybrid~

but just to note int garm actually tanks magic mobs so the low hp wouldnt feel like a big deal

i say this cuz u can go hybrid netime, but you cant go back to pure ^^

at lower level as pure int use a bow that way you still can "nuke" your mobs
go sword shield when you got your nukes (level 30+) when you hit 52 you should start getting a decent idea what you really want a pure or hybrid. i suggest you get a sword/shield and spear but don`t level up your weapon mastery that way you can always survive a bit longer vs stronger mobs and make more damage with a spear while grinding.
