Dual Weapon Build

As the subject says - Should i go dual weapon build

ATM, im a INT based character with Heuksal, Fire & Light. I had a look at various videos on dual builds and was thinking of getting dual weapon build of Heuksal (Spear) and Bicheon (Sword/Shield).

Considering 90 lvl cap -
Fire - 90
Bicheon - 90
Light - 60
Hekusal - 60

But reading through various threads .. seems to be ICE is gonna have more skills...

If u guys choose NO , then, So should i stay wit Heuksal or S/S ??

Please advice - pplz wit dual build experience.

it's SOOO much fun.. you can't even imagine it.. imo it's well worth the sp and the trouble of having to de-lvl at the 90 cap.. cause lvl 80 is a long time away.. and so is the update.. so why not have a lot of fun now..

yo, im from greece too man, i was dual wep and it rocked but, i dropped spear cause u cant be dual at 90, for u to be strong at 90cap u ahve to have 3very strong trees.

well i'm going

but yours looks pretty good too.. just that your buffs will be lower.. light has some dmg buffs so i would get it at lvl 70 at least.

i would go

80 fire
80 heuksal
70 bicheon
70 lightning


edit: ow yeah...it will suck at the 90 cap, but just don't worry about that
if you're planning to play legit it will take you a while to get to 80...if you ever reach it you can still drop a weapon mastery

atm, dual just ownz. cant say how often the 1k extra hp saved my ass, same for the blocks. pvping is a challenge again - knocking, 3x stab, equipping spear and double mars is eye candy.

im going 80 fire 80 light 70 bich 70 heuk though, coz light and fire are definitely supposed to be raised to 90 for me. if the ice rocks as much as they say... hmm... then id go 90 fire 90 ice 90 light 30 heuk.

If you still wish to be dual weapon at 90, then you will have to choose a main weapon, and your secondary will suffer to a point where there would be little point to having it. Either you choose to have a higher weapon for the new skills and % increase, therefore missing out on buffs from your magic trees, or vice versa, keeping your magic trees high for more damage, buffs, then your weapon skills will be weak.

At 90, i think that dual weapons will have to sacrifice too much to be successful.

if i go dual at 90 cap.. wich i doubt then i was thinking about something like this.

cold - 80
heuksal - 90
light - 90
bicheon - 40 (just for def and maybe kd if that lvl40 one has any chance
on a lvl 90)

-lv60 kds against lv90 chars = bad
-no quad stab
-no quad stun
-lacking a load of hp from heuksal passive
-lacking damage overall on weapon skills

well if the cold buff gives us enough ability to tank then go spear. Cause you won't need the extra def from the shield. I'm dual now. but i use my shield less and less every day. cause against bladers I usually don't need it against nukers it really has no point, and against glavie I just put up fire wall and castle shield and try to finish them off quick too. So i'm becomming more offensive. But if you wanna go more def then pick shield. It's just what you like.

Currently I also have a dual build, however i'm lvling them both up equally. I'm gonna lvl Bicheon to 90 and Heuskal to 60 for the passive (I believe the max for passive is 60) but im also lvling a few spear moves because I find it easier to train monsters with spear. Bicheon I find easier in jobs and pvp. When 90 cap you should worry about it, but for now just have fun
