Are pure str bowman strong ?, not talking about the crits but just normal damage ( imbue+skill )

They are strong, but they don't match pure str glavie. There advantage is range,but in jobs and pvp that advantage is cancled out. It's is only good for leveling up and Sp farming. I guess it's okay, but when up agaist a blader/spear/glavie in PVP or Jobs then your only chance is to lure them in and then nuke them. So best to be a pure int in this situation. Because tanking in this situation is pretty much useless with archers.\

I knew hybrids do more damage, but people always said that you barly see the difference, is the damage difference big ?

also, sombody said something about the new skills that bow will have kd+stun so you don't need the crits anymore ( so hybrid str would be better )

How do they lack speed? They have the possibility to be just as fast as anyone in this game.

Like i said before, it IS possible for a hybrid str to crit harder than a pure str, they just have to sacrifice a bit of HP to do so.

Also, the new skills will have Knockback and Stun, not knockdown. This will not make it so "you dont need the crits anymore", it will make it so you have a little bit of extra time to fire off more shots hoping for a crit.

Hybrids hit harder because by increasing Int. You are increasing certain weapon skills and the Imbue.
And hybrids shoot just as fast as a Pure ones. All the hybrids change is their stat points..

i found pure STR archers to be powerful, but nukers do tend to win. I dont know how the hell u pwned that guy who was so many levels higher than you mate (whoever posted that video).

The normal attacks are not exceptional, but the crits are awsome.
Anti devil book 5 (when it will come) will have crit 40 increase. That will be ownage IMO.

purely up to you.

u will have fun pwning pure int and hybrid ints. they r good. wear garments when fighting a int. wear aromr when fighting another pure str bow or glaive. doing that will give u a decent advantage in pvp again pure str.

im pure str bowman and i have no problem jobbing.. although all i do is trade so only kill npcs

so if u think that bowman are weak then u will be surprised when crits start flying.

i rarly have a problem killing spear or glavie.. although it takes longer since they have the HP passive.. S/S have the block and usually it blocks my attacks that crit..


so when it comes ur time to hunt which i do some... bowman are alot more efficent killing then glavie or S/S.. simply because u do have the range.... expecially if ur hunting for lower lvl people.. so u can one hit or two hit the thiefs

dont listen to some of the noobs here. Pure str is the best way to go you will love that extra hp.

just think about it glavie already gets that passive increase you dont want them too have an insane amount more hp than you, get heuksal 30 and the other 3 masteries to 90.

pure str normal hits are okay, i can kill people without criting cuz of my crap bow that failed 18 stones and left it at crit 2 starting at crit 9 (i got greedy, wanted around crit 12)

the only thing i have a problem beating is the bladers with the high BR, just like anyone in the game also has trouble beating them.

pure str for the win, plus im better than undutchable i believe when he was my level- though im still only lvl 40

and the person who said your range is gone in pvp and in wars, yea thats complete bs. you can easily create range with grasswalk-phantom. phantom and strongbow then do antidevil series with a berzerker or demon arrow in there and you are sure to win.

What I mean is that blades or swords are much faster nad they hit twice instead of the ussual 1 hit with the glavie/spear/bow.
