you have to decide what you want your character to be. If you are dead set with bow and love your character then go hybrid. Put all points into STR from now on, or at least until you reach the 70:70 balance. I am a 70:70 hybrid bow, with clothes on I am 82:83 at lvl 52.
I dont think it matters much if you are pure str or hybrid, without a disabling move you are disadvantaged at pvp. In my opinion, and I dont pvp much so I might be wrong but, You MUST have better gear than the guy you are fighting in order to win......Well unless you are fighting another bow
But seriously for 1 vs 1, unless your gear is better then your opponent you won't stand a chance.
Yeah maybe if you are pure STR and can tank long enough AND are lucky enough to get multiple crits in a row then MAYBE you might do a little better in pvp then a hybrid int. But what are your chances of getting multiple crits in a row when they are knocking you down and stunning your ass.
For grinding I would say a hybrid int bow is excellent. I have a 9 gap and am farming with sos+5 bow. I kill yetis which are red mobs. No pure int could do that and survive, and pure str bows wouldn't be able to kill the mob within 1 imbue.
Oh, and no one is willing to admit it but hybrid ints crit VERY HARD. I dont know if they crit as hard as a pure STR, but I win in PVP because of my crits.
In response to Zephy, just to be clear, hybrid bows get better as they level not worse. I died more in pvp when I was lvl 32-36 and I had an SOM bow and just as good protector as I have now.
Remember there is no perfect build, The best you can hope for is to find the build that fits your personality.
Im lv 36 can i fix it anymore? Please help me!!! I loovvee this game but don't know what to do anymore? Should i go for Hybrid int? So 44 levels 1 str 2 int? Or 44 levels 3 str? Or 44 levels 2 str 1 int? Could some please tell me what to do to make good build for pvp and pve. Please!!!
