new ice buff
am i the only one who thinks this will make pure int overpowered? i hope there is a patch to weaken its effect (make it last for a very short amount of time)

heh im deleving heauksal to get ice and wait for the new skills..
i dunno if it will make me without 1k heauksal weaker at the 80 cap.. but im lvl 35 and i wont hit cap ne time soon since i play barely an hour a day (if i feel so.. cuz sumtimes grind is kinda boring or i got stuff to do) and zero on fridays n saturdays...

It would be a lot weaker than just picking one imo, but we'll see. Fire low lvl you would basically be sacrificing the imbue and nukes. Fireshield will probably be almost insignificant with the amount of people taking ice after the update (and fire-shield is supposedly switching to a solid unit), and the magical defense will be laughable. The bicheon/heuskal moves really don't do much until you get to 6x masteries, and even then with the new skills those will probably be considered somewhat weak, though going 50/50 would definitely save sp lol
80-90 masteries will take a lot of farming...

dropping fire or not is a hard decision. If i'll be around when the cap comes out, I will try 90 bich/heuk (can't decide) 90 light, 90 ice, 30 fire.
This is not a classical build by any means, but it will grind very fast due to snake dance/mars + new ice AoE nuke + new lightning nukes etc.
But most people will prolly go with the traditional approach:
90 bich/heuk, 90 fire, 90 light.

sorry for disturbing the round of nukers but could anyone tell me what's the meaning of that?? new ice buff.. what kind of buff should that be? a complete new skill? a fixed buff?? what buff is this.. sorry for asking those questions but i haven't had the chance to play sro in the last few days..

As far as I know it does the following:
it transfers the damage you recieve to the mana. Which means, for a period of time, pure/hybrid INT's can tank almost as much as STR's and still deal the same great damage.
however, I'm not 100% sure that this is what happens, so don't quote me on this.

Nah pure int wont be overpowered cause a pure str can also use that skill.

pure int would get stunned, knockback before it could cast the silly nukes.
The pure int's shield would also last 1 shot.

@ nuclear silo, hmm that would make the skill less overpowered then making it a mana shield, as a mana shield they could take as much as a pure str :O

I said an example
Just go to DW south gate and ask someone with 10k dmg nuke to a str 20k HP. Then ask another person with 5k dmg nuke. U'll understand that 5k nuke will take forever to kill that str.
Time to kill = HP / (dmg rate + HP regen rate).
Now divide dmg rate per 2 and see if time to kill is multiple by 2? Dont be so dumb
