STR FIRE GLAIVE BUILD!!

Pros
-Loads of hp (very useful in this lag that is present everyday)
-Can grind using minimal; number of pots, HP and MP (get a lvl 1 imbue of any kind besides ur main one and just use it once without any skills)

Cons
-Little mp
-Very hard to lvl and quest since STR ins't as killer in the beginning until later lvls.

Str Cold Blade

Pro:
Tank the world
Use WAY less pots due to freezing/slowing
Ever get a freeze on the stab while they're on the ground? ^^

Con:
Less Damage than other elements
Defense buffs are a straight number instead of a percent
Few really useful cold spells, basically imbue and extra defense

Str Blade Fire
Pro:
Faster leveling than Ice Blade
Better Magical Defense
Physical Damage Buff and Passive

Con:
Less damage than Str Glavie
Less physical defense than Ice Blade (can be corrected with ice sub)
No freezing effect.

well, i didn't list that because i've never noticed it to be true yet. but then again i'm not exactly level-capped or anything, just my observations so far ^^

Duel Nuker with Force

Pro:
can res
very heavy hitter
levels fast

Con:
low hp
gets kinda boring sometimes.

2:1 Intelligence:Strength Hybrid (Spear + Lightning + Fire/Ice)
Pro's
One of the best PvE builds, as well as one of the most versatile
High magic damage
Must Piercing Force
2 Nukes (Fire/Ice and Lightning)
Just Plain Fun

Con's
Needs to be higher level (as in 60+) before PvP becomes a strong point
No Shield
Doesnt Tank as well as Pure Strength
Doesnt damage as well as Pure Intelligence

I am not 100% sure of Fire as opposed to Ice, as the character I am making of this variety is under construction in Venice still. If you see me roaming around, gimme a shout. Name of this character is _Freedom_

Pure Int Dual Nuke Fire/Light with both sword-shield and spear

Pros:
Killing Machine
Reallly quick lvler
Nukes are sexy

Con:
Low Hp
MUST get first hit/block if attacked to use both nukes for pvp
Must be very sneaky when pvp

full str Bow+Glavie+Fire+20lvl Lighting mastery+20lvl Force mastery

Pros:
kill fast with bow imbued with fire
get first hit on champ/gigant and then make hard hits with glavie
20lvl Lighting force give you 26% spd bonus with grass walk and some parry
20lvl force give you bonus on MP

cons:
lazy play styles cant get pros
need much SP
you need 2 nice weapons

Hybrid Bow [Str/Int + Fire]

Pros:

1. Jack of all trades, master of none

2. Able to tank [not as good as pure str]
3. Loads of mana points [not as much as pure int]
4. Fire buffs compliments both physical and magical dmg

Cons:

1. Decent dmg
2. Not a popular build

Like Nenhunter i currently ave a
Pure Str Glaive Fire and lightening/force..... i'm wondering if i should get rid of my 17 mastery lvls on force and roughly how much it would cost me to do so.

also, i am making a
Pure Int Spear Nuker with fire/lightning i am wondering if i should also get a sword/shield or just go spear or just go sword/shield...its only like lvl 5-7 and i'm sp farming so i don't really have anything laid out yet.

Wel regarding ur force skills, I recommend you keep it and instead lvl it up to lvl 20 and get the passive. Any1 can benefit from extra mp

Hi all,

I am now a sword hybrid on Aege.
Level 26 with fire lighting cold and bicheon on 20 and pacheon on 10.
This is the most fun caracter I have played so far.
When I was L21, I had slain all mobs around Donwhang and when I do not quest, I like the earth taoists the best, since they give drops that I can use, (in the next levels). Have to say that, since it is not my first char., I have good stuff, SOS weapons and some SOS protector items.
I plan to reach L30 and get the nukes and then decide where i will go next.
Started as STR only for the first 9 levels and came to 1:1 @ L20 and still upping only INT.
Have been SP farming from the start, and going on till L30, allthough not so severe any more. (5 Lv diff.)
I know I will have to make some decicions, but not really planning to reach L100, I will deal with that when I have to...

I am not in for PVP (ATM) and probably never will.

I knew before I started that ONLY PURE was the sure way to go, and I felt that the game had more in it than going into an extreme.

Still happy with it

Cons: took me a lot of hours, and spend quite some SP.
I think that PVP will not be on option for this char.
Whish I could take heal also, but this is already too much... :roll:

Pro:
Fast
ALot of HP
Slightly higher Phy defence
Hit harder
Fast

Con:
Less mp (but still enough)
Cold
Alot of MP pots needed

nothing it can beat anything but maybe a pure str ice blader if u kno how to use techniques on certain builds

STR/Glaive/Fire/Garment (Light sub)

Pros:
Heavy Tanker
Decent balance of Phy and Mag defense
Able to take mobs possibly upto 8 levels higher at mid-level (Took a Red Eye Ghost at lvl 32)
Run somewhat fast
Splash!!! Hit mobs around you (Or in front with Flying Dragon)
Decent LVLing at mid-level and higher
Don't need to SP farm much at all

Cons:
Low Mag dmg
Crappy mp amount
Waste alot of MP pots
Not much for Crit unless you find a good weapon
Sucks until mid-level

yeah....... i've learned te value of my res skill on trade runs as have my friends so i think i will

by the way wat does the lvl 20 passive do? the lvl 10 adds 102 mp
