Can't possibly condone it myself but this would be very interesting im a Psych student so i think i have th answer but pls endulge me, im considering a study on Online Gaming.

I do condone the presence although that conteray to belief sp farming does have its own social form, as in the case of the huge farmer gatherings at the central tower in the Bandit Castle.

Well, because its part of the game.
Not farming ends up with a weak character no matter your build.
Your going to have to farm sometime, if its at level 16 at bandit archers or at level 80/90 with a 9 gap.

It is hard to not understand why people do it, if they can make it through the whole month or so of grinding for sp. Figure it would take about 3 months to have a fully farmed lvl 80 character because they spent a little time up front and got all the sp they would need. Where as most people just grind with a small gap, and it takes forever, then they start leaving the game because it is too boring. >.>

Being alpha male is always nice. You can also protect friends and kill enemies.

Farming = Efficiency and I agree with the reply about GUILD. I most want to be of use to my compadres in my guild, for trading, war etc. Farming creates the best situation for efficient use of time and sp. which I think equates to the best achievment of strength in the end....

Well Guys that Went better than I thought a great response to my little poll, and got some what I thought.

Firstly let me admit yes as Xeroit pointed out I did forget to put in Levelling your guild this was not a omission on purpose but would have been int to see how many people would have done this one, I am aware that alot of people who do this tho are using multiple Charc tho, and that it is their main Charc im interested in.

So to the results and a Narrow win For the perfectionist's out there.. Their are the true gamers as we know, the ones who have to play the game 10*times to unlock all the Secret Levels, Do it faster and better each time, Would be no suprise to find many of these will actually stay with the game to get to lvl 90.

To the Bullies/Robin Hoods a major almost 1/3 of the poll going for this option, and to me what I Believed would have been the winner early on fell behind. This Group are in some ways developing what WOW and most of the online gaming Corps have been trying to create in their games. The Society within the game where upon a player will play more to be able to "protect/pick on" his friends. This dosen't seem wrong until you realise that this is companies picking on a very particular piece of human nature, our sociability, Where upon this game's such as WOW will reward players for playing together and for farming but in doing such the players become more reliant upon it, If they are to stop they will "FALL BEHIND". By turning to the Advertisment world they can now have the ability to place products and mechanisms in places as to specifically tackle this group. This allows in forms for the Gaming Producer to place subtle subliminal messages without it being "PART OF THE GAME"...

To the Feeling weak and Submissive Group well you truely are the Sheep, I wouldn't be suprised to see of you multi posting for attention, those who can understand you will in the majority find that are people not too interested in the game but enjoy particular parts of it, to the extent that Farming is too much a chore when your only messing about anyway.

Well So concludes my "Short" summary Hope you all Enjoy, and remember the ramblings of a blind man aren't always so dumb !
